Arsene Wenger has publicly said he wants to keep Jenkinson at Arsenal. Anyone else think this is just a case of trying to raise his transfer fee?

I think he genuinely wants him back conditional on Barcelona coming back in for Bellerin when they are allowed to make transfers again, Debuchy injury ridden, Chambers used elsewhere in the team. Jenko won't be Arsenals first choice right back though, so I don't know why he doesn't force the move himself. He will be playing every game for us getting similar wages and improving his chances of a place in the England squad for years to come

Difficult to call this one, wh not only club interested in jenkinson, so it could be to raise the profile and thereby the price, or it's a possibility he may be loaned out again not necessarily to us, wh are hovering around a ton of free agents, Jon guidetti, Micah Richards, maxi pereira among them, I recently stated that wh watched the recent Blackburn, forest game, with no less than five players under view, , gestede, Rhodes Marshall and michal Antonio among them, dgs going hard after reinartz , BUT no ones put pen to paper as yet, according to the bookies there are only now three contenders if Sam go,s, , never known anything like the amount of players under the scope, which is good in the sense that wh need plenty of them!!, I feel that dgs need to do something positive, and get a couple of names signed, as fans are getting edgy, with manager situation in proverbial limbo, however I feel deal of some kind has been closed with respect to that situation, that's my gut instinct, not sure that any Europe adventure will be of any benefit, unless current bones of squad given lots of additional flesh IRONMIKE

It makes me larf how we suddenly make an approach for David Moyes through his brother (apparently) only when Newcastle make an approach (according to the press)
