i don't get why everyone is jumping on the back of carroll. we don't have a clue what's happening, the club have said it will be sorted when he's back from holiday. the press are just making up stories on this because not a lot is happening at the moment. so don't believe carroll has demanded 100k, all we know is that last day of the season he said how much he liked us and thanked all the fans and he'll be a hero if he stayed. if he does want those wages we don't know how the financial situation of the club works, let the club spend what they like and hope we get the best possible players going, with andy carroll being an amazing achievment for our transfer business. another striker, winger, defender and midfielder needed once carroll signs
Well said. the fact is this year sees a new tv contract so all the premier league teams get the same amount that Man U got for winning the league last year! so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that we have got upto 30million to spend and with the reality of the fair play rules actually being banned from European competition being the kind of punishment dished out is it really going to affect us just at the moment! got to look to the future new stadium will mean around an extra £30mil plus in basic turnover a year I say Carroll is worth every penny of £100k a week every time he played he was surrounded by 3 defenders leaving gaps for others!
