Hi fellas it appears there has been much opposition to Mr golds claims that " arsenal better look over their shoulders " at what Mr gold to see if their is any dandruff! IF WH had a squad like arsenal I could understand his claim, but we are well short in many positions, and It may be best for him to keep quiet at this time. Think I would prefer Glenn Murray of Palace if I am honest. Joel has promised much but not delivered, Murray's record is almost 1 in 2 so worth a punt. Realistically we are not going to sign Charlie Austin, Javier Hernandez or someone of that ilk.

What's the betting now we are out of Europe that that's it as far as new signings are concerned?
Take a gamble on Sakho staying fit until Carroll / Valencia back and utilise Tomkins as a RB if anything happens to Jenks.
Elsewhere we just about have some cover.

I am not sure you are right, they still have the East End Barrowboy mentality which they proved by hanging onto BFS last season.
I think they will stick and see whet January brings.
However there isn't much about striker wise that we can afford, but while Jelavic & Borini are being mentioned (please no) what about Murray from Palace as a back up his stats are better than both of these and he would be cheap and could do a job for us!
