Any update on Traore today? Papers saying more than likely signing him on loan within the next 48 hours but obviously the work permit thing etc has to be sorted

So City tomorrow, what the hell are we going to do? Well let's face it, we aren't going to win the game realistically but after all this is football and anything can happen. BS must play a back four with a holding midfielder, that is unquestionable. Even if our defence is injury ridden, there must be 5 defensive players on the pitch to help prevent another embarrassment tomorrow night. If Jarvis, Downing, Maiga and Diarra all play how they did against forest then i'm afraid to say we could even be looking at a 6, 7 or 8-0 defeat. i'm even contemplating saying to drop the strikers and play as we did against spurs in the league. having another 5 in front of the holding midfielder would mean we can try and saturate the centre of the park, because let's face it, maiga or cole won't do much on their own up top and we can't afford to play two up front and get beaten by a stupid margin. Who knows we might nick a sloppy goal and hold it up. My provision is:

Jussi in Goal
Demel, McCartney, Johnson, Rat
Noble (hopefully back fit)
Jarvis, Morrison, Diame, Joe Cole, Downing

After tonight's result I would love to beat City over two legs as Sunderland could well get there, and I would fancy us against them. Unfortunately though we are just as likely to sign Van Persie as we are to beat City over two legs. What is worse is that bottom of the league team just beat Man Utd, while we made them look like Barcelona. This, in my opinion, was Sam's fault as his approach against a weak and unconfident Manchester United side was too negative. This has been a regular thing for Sam and he has to kick teams while they are down, not help them up.
For the City game, I would still like to see Sam not risk anyone that could be affected for Saturday's game. Play the players that won't be affected and (I hate to say it) try and hold on to 0-0, that is the best we can hope for. Saturday is too important to risk not having players fresh, because all the Cardiff players will have had a week to prepare.

becchio would be a good target as he does not even play at Norwich and is down the pecking order west ham would get him on cheap.

it would be good if west ham can get loanee players rather than splash out big money everyone wants to go to the world cup so every player wants to prove themselves so who is available
west ham have a defensive and strike problem so who is available and not getting regular football
lescott
heitinga
micah Richards but injury prone
moses
ba
jelavic
anelka
defoe
mata everyones wishlist
zaha
becchio
lambert
what does everyone think please reply

Offer Mata, Ba and Lescott silly money and take the hit in the pocket to stay up, once next season comes back around in the PL the likes of these players will cause west ham to head in the right direction

Gold and Sully must understand the money they would lose if relegated? If so why don't you anticipate this loss and spend it now on three serious players

In and ideal world Ba probably won't even come to West Ham let alone Lescott and Mata but you catch my point

It don't mata how much we offer we won't be getting him!

Your manager is going to take you down. I was at Forest match and you were getting hammered and their was no interest in your managers face at all disgrace.

Just hoping there are three teams worse than West Ham United - can't see that many now or by the end of be season.
