I'm not sure about this, I think we would still be jeopardising our league form. Definitely a chance we would have to play first teamers, especially in later rounds, and I'd rather Sakho and Payet weren't in Krakow on a Thursday night and then having to play a full 90 on the Saturday!

If u play on a Thursday u get an extra 24 hours in the prem and the games are moved to Sunday . but I know what u mean mate . I still think a decent run in Europe would of been a fitting way to finish at the Boleyn

Could be playing 2000 miles away fatigue injuries and suspensions would take a toll on the squad only for the competition to be topped up with champion league knock outs

Hi all. It is a real shame that this site seems to have gone very quiet since last Tuesday! It is not just a rumour site but a banter site. We did apparently sign a Latvian goalkeeper on Thursday for the kids!
I hope you can all try to make some more re effort to keep Ironmike site up and chatting, he can't put all the posts.

Hi si I also find my self cold turkey still come on hoping for post and updates iron-mike kept us all entertained as you say we signed rihards matrevics on a scholarship he is an impressive 6'7 at 16 years old and meant to be a real prospect and one of the most promising young keepers in Europe but from what I have read it is subject to Fifa approval and international clearance, as for Monday nights game against Newcastle I for one am so excited to see what team is put out and it will be my first home game as I was away for the first two home games. I hope it will be a good turn out as I know it's on sky and evening kick off. Hope to see Andy come off the bench to score my shout is 2-0 sakho and Carroll
