Collins and Tomkins should hold there's heads in shame. both should of been playing tonight,but both banned for silly red cards leaving us no option but to play a weak side . in saying that why field sakho payet etc etc in the game against werder Bremen then play kids in a competitive Euro qualifier . pay the dead wood off before there's a split in the dressing room let's hope we have the squad ready for Sunday . still think we will only get 2 new players in song and a striker

well as for pre-season, if my memory serves me right we are dismal preseason anyway, this time we have done more travelling we have blooded some promising youngsters and possible weeded out some of the "gotta get em gone crowd"it seems there is quite a procession of pundits/experts jumping off the fence to declare we are destined for relegation, given those who are fit didn't travel to Romania I still think the over haul of the squad is well underway whilst still a way to go, I do still think we are in for a better season than we had last year, remember 4th at one point and then dire after the festive, with my blinkered claret and blue eyes I am genuinely confident of a better season with with SB than SA, COYI, Ironmike what's the latest on more in coming?

Hi fellas, no need to discuss the whole game., you need a squad of quality players to go through this tournament, this proved conclusively, that wh havnt got that and are at this moment along way from it, I know that most fans outnumber me when I said we should not be in this type of tournament at this time, I take no pleasure from being proved correct, at least it hasn't damaged our league chances, IRONMIKE

We just needed a team to play with pride and passion, if we still got beaten then fair enough, but when you have to sit and watch the dross that was served up it goes beyond a joke.
My main sympathies go to the poor sods who spent their hard earned to travel out there, the players tonight should club together and reimburse the supporters that turned up expecting to watch a decent game but instead had to endure that poor excuse for a football match.

I hated BFS as manager but his team would have had more fight.
God help us if Bilic can't motivate the lads tonight to beat a team of nobodies.
Was really looking forward to this season now really worried, and before you all say it was just kids and reserves, the tactics were all wrong and there was no urgency or passion in their play, no pride, all this comes from the management team.
When one nil up we should have gone for it and buried them but no, let's just sit there invite pressure and them back into the game.
Hope I am wrong but can see a relegation fight on our hands which is crap considering the players we have.

It's fine to say this team has signed these players or this many players and West Ham United have only signed X but it is how they fit into the team / system not necessarily how good they are.
Lots of teams around us have, on paper improved their squads, but it will be the settled sides that haven't had many changes that will do better this season, not the team who has brought in the most.

Understand your point but we were the worst team after Xmas. Stoke and palace have better and improved squads and probably better managers. Are all the pundits wrong?
