What do my fellow hammers believe will happen with the Andy Carroll situation this summer? We have been linked with Crouch who is agueably a cheaper like for like replacement if Carroll heads back to Liverpool. someone in the West Ham P. R department trying to gee up Liverpool perhaps?. doesn't look like he is wanted back at Anfield. I think we could do a lot worse than Crouch but needless to say, I would much prefer to keep Carroll who has recently looked very good indeed for a typically physical Sam Alladyce team. And if we do secure the long term services of Carroll, does this mean that we wouldn't be looking at the likes of Rhodes? I think a Carroll / Rhodes partnership would be lethal in the Premier League. Carroll's physical presence and aggression coupled with Rhodes' movement off the ball and finishing would be superb. A cheaper alternative to Rhodes could be Leigh Griffiths from Wolves. He has been in great form for Hibernian this season and, with him heading back to Wolves to join the team in League 1 next season, surely he wouldn't cost an awful lot.
Further to my post on West Ham United rumours the name of fletcher is still being banded about, with sunderlands position in peril and he is currently injured this position could develop;;another player sam likes is nzonzi. expect a bid for him at seasons end
