HI fellas, whilst we are in managerial limbo, and a semi frozen state! I would appreciate all your opinions, on the following, IT has been stated many times that this summer west ham are prepared to make a marquee signing! who do you think this would be? Or whom would you fancy? I have been having a think about this, and on this I have no prior knowledge at all, neither it seems has anyone else, but I have been thinking this through, and whilst I could be wildly off the mark, I am going to have a stab at it, with my reasons, after I have read, your posts, IRONMIKE

Not sure, but I reckon Knoplyanka could well be on the radar. If Bielsa takes over it could well be Gignac who we have been after for a while.
I think again it will depend who the manager wants

HI phil, don't think it will be a free agent , they are talking of making a marquee signing and spending 25/ 30 m on him, this aside from normal dealings ( although my brain tells me believe it when you see it!) my reasoning is this, although I personally don't think the goalie area is strong enough can't see big money spent there, in defence we need 2/3 depending on adaptability of doneil Henry, and midfield we need2/3 but again we know who the front runners are and all of these positions combined will be approximately 30m, so it's up front, sakho and downing are nailed on to stay, but Carroll and Valencia are in the balance, completely sticking my neck out I believe wh will spend. Big up front, yes they will try to get a couple of quality free agents up front as back up like gignac, or konoplyanka if available, but they want someone who can lead the line in an impressive fashion , the man I think they will go for, is someone who keeps saying he wants champions league football, and wants to leave his present club, , not something west ham cn provide at this time, however this player has signed himself up to mino raoli, the italian super agent, whom dgs are friendly with, no doubt it would take both an enormous fee and wages and aheck of a lot if persuasion, but I think they will bid for LUKAKU, might be miles away but that's my own guess , we will have to wait and see, regards IRONMIKE

Mike, I've had a feeling someone was going to suggest Lukaku recently, I've had the same feeling. Something about the way he always scores against us too haha! But for me this isn't a marquee signing, don't get me wrong, great player, but not worth paying much more than 10-15m for me. Has a knack of coming across lazy too. I would be happy with him obviously though, Lukaku & Sakho up front Jesus Christ!

What are the chances of luring Javier Hernandez to West Ham?
Will consistent game time i'm sure he could find his top form again and always gives 100% commitment to the club he is at. Would definitely be a fans favourite

HI nick, Chicharitos success depends largely on what type of football is played, and what formation he is in, that said, he's been avery good player, but, no good playing high balls to him, if you get my drift, so this is really a managers descision, some managers love him , some don't, it's where they see him fit in, and alongside who, he is not a target man, and is quick only over very short distances, needs lots of balls to his feet, don't know how al this would fit at west ham IRONMIKE
