eds when are you going to start enforcing fans to sign in?
its getting difficult to reply to certain posts and some posts appear not be by west ham fans not that it matters good to able to i'd trolls from other teams

{Ed001's Note - we are gradually bringing sign in only to all sites, so it is only a matter of time mate. Just have to give us time to get to it, as it takes a while to alter the sites. I will move it up the list though so it should be done sooner rather than later.}

This from relaibale info source exWHUemployee:

"I am not totally sure about the reported 'massive rush' to renew season tickets on the deadline. That may be correct with regard to online applications, but what I do know is that I went to the ticket office on Monday morning, in person, to renew and there was no one there waiting to be served! In fact, I was expecting at least half hour stuck in a queue, but no, I was 'done and dusted' in just five minutes"?

One employee the problem was with people phoning in took 20 min plus only russians queue in this day n age

I Love this article as it sums up West HAM in the transfer market:

Believe all you read and you will come to the conclusion that Sam Allardyce is a lame duck manager with no power - and NO I don't believe it!

Knee jerk reactions are par for the course in football and that is never a sensible reaction! But events at the Boleyn since the season ended - whilst providing riveting points for discussion and moaning and groaning - have given many plenty to jerk their knees about.

The demand for an attacking coach, the alleged arrival of a head of recruitment (still not here) and the board's decision to take a firmer grip on the transfer budget has been an endless gossip feast for fans, journalists and of course the ever present Twitter Army.

There was a feature written on another Hammers website a few days ago which lashed the owners, Sam Allardyce, the players, their pets, their wives, children and grandchildren (I jest) for what was described as an inoperable policy.

It spoke of the manager being disabled by the board decisions, that he was effectively no more than a figurehead and that when everything goes tits up, as the writer appears to believe it will, he can justifiably claim it wasn't his fault.

I very rarely swear but there's a word beginning with b ending with s and involving a k to describe that.

Words are one thing and there have been plenty of them but we need to look a bit closer at the facts before jerking our knees so radically and thoughtlessly.

For there is no indication at all that apart from a South American striker on a free - who may or may not get into the team - little has changed on the transfer front.

And to believe that Sam Allardyce is having no input when the most serious targets have been a defensive midfielder who can play at the back - Jack Colback, Gareth Barry, £10 million central defender Cheikhou Kouyate and now a French left back, Timothee Kolodziejczak -, is ridiculous. Sam looks very involved indeed from where I'm sitting.

The other target was a 19 year old striker in the Carroll mold - M'Baye Niang. So why would we be interested in such a player? I think we know.

Sam Allardyce's hand remains very much on the summer transfer market rudder - activity always speaks louder than words.

Neither David Sullivan or David Gold have ever said they alone are deciding who will be bought, just that there will be a closer liason between those involved.

Should a head of recruitment arrive then it may be time to re-appraise the situation but as of now I reckon Mr Allardyce is having as much say as ever in who comes into the club - how could it be otherwise, especially for defenders?

All the possible targets appear to be typical Allardyce types and there's no way in the world any board of directors will pay a manager £2 million a year to cut him off at the knees.

I believe the Daves will watch things a little more carefully and do their very best to get value for money but to disable the manager is a quite ridiculous suggestion.

Personally I believe the Sam Allardyce has one more season before we all wave him goodbye.

In the meantime, from what I've seen going on in the transfer market so far, it appears to be situation normal.

What is your point poster???
it ain't rocket science bfs in his last season and I do believe that if bfs has got West Ham United to certain postion by/dec/jan he will be offered an extension on his contract.
do I like bfs NO do I like bfs style of play no but I undestand we have a manager who out perferforms his budgets and expectations
bfs above all else will keep us up and at the same time we can redudce our debts before we move to the o/s recently saw a table in regards to team investments we was 4th from bottom last term.
yes bfs does employ boring tactics get over it. WHO WANTS TO BE A POMPEY were a club in transition get used to it
our 3 goals have to be epl a stable epl club
2 zero debt
3 potential to play e. u football and attract quality players

Yeah you say he keeps you up but only by a fraction and because Norwich, fulham and cardiff were so poor!

Fraction?? yes there were some f/ups last season not signing that 2nd quality striker and that 4th choice c/b things could been different but hey were still in the epl.
we have a large debt that has to be reduced before we move to the o/s once we have reduced that debt and move to the o/s we will be able to compete in the transfer markets.
bfs plays boring safe football yes I agree.
we have one of the smallest squads most of our players have either come up through the ranks ie noble or tonks or are 3 transfers as much as I want to see attacking footie I don't want 2 see us get relgated we may just do a pompei or leeds safe hands I say 12 months what's the drama worse case scenario we get shot of bfs in jan only a small pay of plenty of time to look at a replacement or he walks at the end of the seasons

Sam Allardyce needs to sign another left-back this summer having released George McCartney and allowing Pablo Armero to return to Napoli following his poor loan spell at Upton Park.
Kolodziejczak, 22, who has represented his country at all levels from Under-16 to Under-20, has been earning rave reviews in Ligue 1 and is ready to showcase his talents in England.
French publication Get French Football News is reporting that West Ham have made a £2.5m move for the talented full-back and could finalise a deal in the near future.

Sam Allardyce is expected to make his first 2 signings Timothee Kolodziejczak £3m and Anderlecht CB Kouyate at £10m. Guy will be leaving for Hamburg and so will Alou Diarra, Modibo Maiga and Mo Diame.

Sam is also mulling over a move for long time target Ross McCormack, however, Alan Pardew has already approached Leeds with an offer of £6m with £2m in add ons totalling the £8m Leeds are looking for.

West Ham apparently Mulled for to long over McCormack because Leeds have accepted a bid of £8m from Newcastle.

Surprise Surprise another one mulled over for too long. Another summer where the West Ham mouth is bigger than the wallet.

No doubts whatsoever that West Ham will end up with Sherngham in attack to save money or some unheard of African player on the cheap

What is it with some fans??
lets wait until the windows closes the window does not open until 1st july and already the doom and gloomers are out.
no one really knows fully who our targets are other than what the press print.
we have a limited budget 20/25 mill plus what's brought in from sales which won't be much. transfer budget is based upon past transfer windows.
we need lb 4th choice cb rb cdm if diame diarra leave we also need to tie reid down to a new contract we may also be looking to sign another winger plus a striker.
so let's judge bfs/g/s/kb when the window is closed

Apparently Sam Allardyce likes the looks of some geezer called "Wellington Paulista"

Leeds haven't accepted any bids for RM, he's not for sale

{Ed039's Note - I think everyone at Leeds is for sale)

Can someone please tell me what's actually wrong with West Ham? Just lost out on Colback to Newcastle, they are lining up a bid for McCormack who will most defo prefer to go to them over us, our actual transfer targets include nobody special whatsoever now and Pantillimon? Good for a free transfer but there is every other area of the pitch that needs help first! Colback and McCormack along with this Zarate would have been enough for me, maybe a CB and a left back and its business done looking forward to the new season. Too much messing about going on. And while i'm at it, what's Teddy done so far? Wasn't he brought in to help fatboy buy some attacking players and to coach them? Yeah good one! We will end up with some pony French league player and a has-been defender that's in his mid 30's : (

Colback is a newcastle fan and more than likely didn't wish to move his family south.
who knows or gives a sh@t next target
if reports are true we offered him 50k a week and he turned us down [which have not officially been confirmed]
lets wait and see

This again shows the ambition of west ham with Jasskaleinen resigning, absolute joke and another effort to save money
