I for one would really like to see us drop NOLAN and DIAME and Start against Spurs with Zarate in behind Valencia.

It seems we also have issues with the fitness of Valencia who is expected to Start against SAMPDORIA but not fit enough for SPUDS??? How does that work.

If we get Zaha it would be really nice to show our intent at home and play Zaha and Zarate in behind front man Valencia with Kouyate and Noble in midfield with a back 5 letting Full Backs get forward.

Knowing Sam it will be the usual

Adrian

Demel Collins Reid Cresswell

Downing Diame Noble Jarvis

Nolan

(God only knows who)

Lots of attacking intent there alright.

{Ed039's Note - Valencia will play against Sampdoria to get game time to try and get some match fitness as he has not had a pre season like the other players, and he wont have the match fitness to play a competitive encounter)

Apparently Andy Carroll is gutted at being injured again and at one of the lowest points in his career. Its got to be so hard to cope on £90,000 a week and not even having to work for it.

His mate Kevin Nolan may as well jump on board for all the use he is.

Andy Carroll has hit rock bottom, sidelined yet again from the latest in his catalogue of injuries and facing abuse from West Ham fans.

The Geordie is struggling to deal with being out of action for the first four months of the season (AGAIN) and has sunk to a new all time low, according to Hammers manager Sam Allardyce.

Carroll is a week into his rehabilitation after surgery (AGAIN) in the United States to fix damaged ankle ligaments, his fourth bad injury since joining the Londoners.

And it has left the former England forward "miserable and upset" (boo bloody hoo)

He has made only 16 appearances (£900,000 per appearance, great investment) for West Ham since signing for £15m a year ago following a previous loan spell at the club.

And Allardyce has revealed the torment and frustration his target man is feeling (my heart bleeds for a player that enjoyed his summer on the beer and kebabs at £90k a week)

To make matters worse, some Hammers fans have turned on Carroll (hardly a bloody surprise)

To read what some of you write beggars belief, do you honestly think that he gets himself deliberately injured?
do you honestly believe that he doesn't want to be fit and playing for West Ham United & potentially England?
I read the same about the board, one day great as they are signing players, the next tight as they won't sign so and so because of wages etc.
Jesus talk about fickle fans.
Lets just get behind the team and hope for the forthcoming season as I don't believe BFS is going anywhere.
