Why is everyone panicking after the Stoke result? I have supported the Hammers for 25 years & seen this situation every year, so what makes this season any different?
I know we didn't sign anyone on Deadline Day, but we battled off the predators for Reid, Diame, Tomkins.
Let's aim for 25 points by January window, and if we need re-enforcements get a Striker & Right Back then
Realistic Hammer
No body is panicking we have one fit striker who can't score this is at the begining of the season another who is out injured,
if a/c breaks down on his 1st game we could be in trouble talk about putting all your eggs in one basket
Ok, so we didn't get another striker ib and if we get injuries we may have problems, but until that time let's be positive and get behind the lads. We can't surely play any worse than we did against stoke and Big Andy is back. let's hope he keeps himself fit or we may have cause for concern. Not sure why we didn't make a real effort to get Quagrialella but hey, they apparently know best and maybe we'll get him in january.

The posts from COY are generally spot on, with a good understanding of the club and how it works. last Saturdays game is not forgotten, how we were well outplayed by Stoke. even with that we could still have knicked a totally undeserved point. had we a proper front man. I now understand someone is going to be brought in come January regardless of results. and not a cheap option. let's wait and see. because if we recover our form and do well. D D and SAM will wait for summer window. this is unlikely to happen though as even the most commited fans must admit we are much too one dimensional. and our route one tactics easily readable and countered. the early success we had last season. was mainly because other teams were caught out and surprised with the powerfull way we imposed ourselves at home. very different away however where we could not really carry out same tactics. we need more pace that's for sure with one or two exceptions far too slow especially up front. fastest man in the team over short distance has to be reid. whom a last day bid from Everton ( again) was knocked back. we where offered Anichebe as part of deal which must have been very temptingnhowever with "chubby" cazrlton cole back at least we have aprescence up front. let's hope we get maiga out on loan to somebody. anybody.
