As one of my fellow IRONS supporters has pointed out. If Sunderland want Sakho at £10m and £40k a week and we are chasing Bacca at £19m and £80k a week its a no brainer and then go get Batshuyai. As suspected, Spurs are believed to have made a bid for Pereya.

Well, all these rumours going on regarding Braithwaite, Bacca, Tore etc and now not surprisingly Spurs have been linked with Robert Pereya of Juventus, typical. I think this may well become a common story over the summer and quite clearly why we are being linked with so many red herrings to draw teams away from our real targets.
In all honesty, Braithwaite is a heck of an upgrade on Valencia and Bacca could easily be the 20 goal a season striker we desperately need and at £19m for a player who has scored goals at some of the best leagues in Europe isn't bad business. OK, so he's getting on a bit BUT, if we are truly interested I would suggest paying this guy his £60k a week that he wants. How him and AC could play together am not sure cause he plays with pace.

Oh, and the fact that he is 29 shouldn't deter us. Dimitri Payet already shown if your good enough age don't matter.
