As a life long West Ham fan I have seen and heard alot. But not to the extent we hear since Gold and Sullivan have been in charge. Those of us who have read between the lines from every little snippet the Daves have put out there, know these stories to be absolute rubbish. Believe it when you see it.
Why do we want lescott? If we signed him do you drop Rieid or Tompkins? Ginger is still a good back up as well spend the money on other positions God knows we need to strengthen at fullback/midfield/upfront
Kinda glad really sooner we brought in an up and coming cb got time to settle in all this talk of lescott/ashley cole/richards all on big wages.
if they are on 100k a week wages that's 4.8 million in wages throw in a hefty siging on fee 2/3 mill plus agents fees 1mill and for what 2 seasons plus time is wasted chasing these guys while we miss out on signings that may have signed
