Is it just me or was Transfer Deadline a complete let down for West Ham fans?
We looked awful against Stoke on Saturday. Absolutely toothless. Yet we seem satisfied with the attaching players we have?
We rely too heavily on Andy Carroll. When he is fit, great, but when he isn't we can't continue to play Modibo Maiga in the loan striker role. He isn't good enough.
David Gold said after the Stoke game that "we clearly need more strike power" yet we only seemed to chase people we never really seemed likely to sign. Absolutely pathetic.
Why were we chasing players 6 hours before the window shut that we only had a 15% - 30% chance of signing. Work on deals that are likely!
The best we can hope for now. Carlton Cole returning to the club!

It's now 22. 15 and still no one signed I can't believe that we won't be signing a striker surely after the stoke ham G/S and BFS would of sat down and identified targets I hate to think they believe our squad doesn't need fire power. Starting to think its going to be a long hard season especially if Carroll doesn't have his shooting boots on when he's fit. Chris

OK. is everybody now satisfied. nothing from nothing equals nothing. Carroll back not back,. no matter. Saturday showed how weak we are. as I previously stated all the new clubs have have deep pockets. and the new rules don't apply to them in fact they only apply to whu. our good supporters taken for mugs. the truth is the board are mugs even the most faithfull supporters, will lose faith eventually. its been plainly obvious that maiga was never good enough. ok we all make mistakes. get rid to st ettienne. and move on downing (now out for a month) bought instead of two strikers. someones lost the plot, we've got a brand new stadium coming up with big sponsors in the wings. what are they thinking about. get readyfor a bottom six dog fight. panic buys in January. incidentally the bookies have cut whus relegation odds from 25-1 to 10-1. the most optimistic supporters have been proved wrong as I previously posted Cole will be back this week on a pay play basis he's not fit. maiga makes him look like a top star!

Shocked ain't the word for it. I hope Andy Carroll stays fit all season and don't get too many yellow or reds cards because I'll be f**ked if know who is going to score goals for West Ham. And also we have Jarvis, Downing and Joey Cole putting balls in the area for who? Good luck

If our problem is wages (not money) and FFP then why don;t we approach Blackburn with players plus cash for Jordan rhodes. This way we get rid of rubbish like Matt Taylor and release wages for Rhodes

I think the gushing love in from bfs and the spunk brothers when they signed carroll would be enough to put any striker off joining us. The only hope is to convince potential strikers that we will switch to two upfront. Yeah right

Its 19. 12 on the final day of the transfer window and we've got Andy Carroll returning for the Saints game this means that the board and manager are quite happy with the striking options at West Ham so they should all be stood against a wall and shot. West Ham will not be conducting any business today quite clearly so time to call it a day and another typical west ham f_ _ king transfer fiasco where they have wasted what budget they have on s***. Long hard goalless season ahead culminating in us buying s*** in January after stupid fat allardyce has been sacked, what a joke we are. How the F_ _K can the rest of the teams in the premier league be buying and buying and buying and we are doping sweet FA? The FFP rule is just an excuse for west ham board to make. Are you having a laugh, No striker wants to join the hammers and play second fiddle to Carroll.
