Paul Robinson to west Ham! Thoughts on this?
Thoughts? Just shows the ambition when hammers continue to by Has beens
That jsut about sums it up another goalkeeper knocking on in age in Paul Robinson.
I've said this before but our lack of form corresponds with Wally Downes going. You do have to wonder if it is linked. I have been a Hammer for over 50 years and I will allways be a Hammer so I don't care who we get in but they have got to want to play for us and they have got to show effort. Otherwise the overpriced season ticket will go and i'll go and watch Conference South Maidenhead United. It will save the 4 hours of travelling to each home game
Knocking on in age, is it me or do they say that goal keepers normally in their prime from 30 to 35! Dave Seaman, Peter Schmiecal, fabian barthez, david James, ludek miklosko, The Great Peter Shilton, all great keepers and all played well into late 30's!

I think we got it wrong when we bought jarvis as a.johnson who went on to sunderland was cheaper and is much a better player.. can dribble and pass players better also score goals.
Jarvis can cross witch suites our style of play under sam. johnson can't.
Also a, johnson wanted to return to the north west

Hate to say it but the west ham tranfers have been so predictable again trying to pick up bargains for loan deals spending no cash and expecting Sam Allardyce to work miracles. No ambition and no commitment to the manager leads only one way, relegation

Stephen Warnock on his way to Leeds who offered longer contract.................Typical West Ham ambition. Pogatetz brought in to shore defence up and they desperatley need QUALITY left back. McCartney will never cut it in Premier League. Diame on his way as is Diarra on LOAN. Carlton Cole Going to Turkey leaving hammers short in mdifield and with only 3 attackers
