Hii SLAVEN, ANTONIO WAS NOT A RIGHT BACK, IS NOT A. RIGHT BACK, AND WILL NEVER BE A RIGHT BACK, , Apart from that we were useless all across the park, We couldn't beat an egg, We need TWO Full backs and TWO forwards pronto at a minimum Time is ebbing away, passing was horrible and aimless, no teamwork, HOWEVER this MIGHT JUST MIGHT have come as a massive jolt to those that thought we are nailed on to do well this season, IRONMIKE.

28 Jul 2016 22:16:53
I think Antonio would do a job up front more so than rb should give it a go nothing to lose good in the air and can finish.

28 Jul 2016 22:23:10
Completely right Mike!
Antonio was one of our best players last Season! play him in his correct position! why play Byram at LB, he's a RB, play him there! We are so off the pace at the moment! Hope DGS payback all our travelling fans that had to endure that crap!
So our first game at new stadium could actually be our last game in Europe for this season.

28 Jul 2016 21:40:43
Just one word, shambles!

28 Jul 2016 22:05:49
Don't worry Gerry, you can always watch spurs playing in the champions league this season lol, on another note you should be blowing these teams away as i honestly think you are good enough to win this competition.

28 Jul 2016 21:36:18
And that's why no top players want to come to West Ham.

28 Jul 2016 21:28:56
I love Antonio but we going to ruin him and our season if we continue with him at RB he looks out his depth be concerning when hazard et all fave him if we persist.

28 Jul 2016 20:23:33
What's going on with the defence Antonio is not a right back for gawd sake.

28 Jul 2016 20:44:18
I know it's ridiculous looks like he's playing in high heels the way he keeps slipping over on a good note feghouli looks good.

28 Jul 2016 21:02:45
It's embarrassing.

28 Jul 2016 21:12:06
With got some serious problems with this squad at the moment Bilic has even come out publicly and said so I hope the owners get behind him. Hope he wakes up and realises Antonio cannot be our Rb otherwise were bang in trouble! Midfields ok but definitely need work at the back and upfront possibly up to 5 players otherwise were have trouble this season finishing in the top 10! Dropping out of Europa might be a blessing I thought we would have been more active in the transfer market we just haven't got the strength in depth!

28 Jul 2016 21:19:20
We should of gone for more realistic signings, we are weak in defence and attack! Now losing to some team that we should be beating! what a disgrace.

28 Jul 2016 21:38:48
What a joke of a club! Hope dgs were watching that and not counting their money they have made from us die hard fans! With a few exceptions that is our current strongest 11!
Out played tonight and couldn't even score in open play!
And us die hard fans who follow the club we love have to listen to DGS and how hard they are trying to get players!
2 fullbacks and 2 forwards are a absolute neccesity!
So angry with them at the moment!

28 Jul 2016 15:48:20
The thing that has pi##ed me of about this marquee signing is they have broadcast it to the whole world and let us fans down but also Sakho has got the raving and wants to do one, hopefully lesson learned by the board.

28 Jul 2016 16:14:25
Same old every transfer window, much is promised and nothing done until the last day when we panic and up with another EMINIKE/ Jelavic situation.

28 Jul 2016 14:18:30
Was so looking forward to this season and all the promises now just think we have been made to look a complete joke! Hope this is a lesson to dgs to keep your mouth shut until a player has been signed you can just imagine how other fans of London clubs must be laughing there nuts off! Just hope dgs have got an ace up there sleeves but doubt it very much! As the song goes just like my dreams they fade and die!

28 Jul 2016 16:18:54
Agreed! Wasn't Jonathon Calleri supposed to have flown in by now to sign for us, REALLY?

It seems after all the messing about with Lacazette and then Bathshuyai and then BACCA we have let more realistic targets slip through our fingers in true West Ham fashion. My mate is an Arsenal fan and he has a good laugh at us every transfer window cause its always the same! I try to remain optimistic and argue with him every window but its always as he would call it "Worth its weight in gold for the entertainment value alone"!

The more I read about Carr the more angry I get, all the tv money, the extra income from stadium and all round wealth of our club at the moment and we can't find a role for a legend who has done so much for our club through the years, when you read how the captain and manager are both shocked by the news it does make you wonder at what cost will our great club become successful on the big stage, then you've got to hear how that jumped up daddy's boy Sullivan saying how Carr was paid well for his time, he deserved every penny he earned and the 1.6m in the last 11 years that is being said by the big mouth daddy's boy is probably not even the price of the DGS helicopter costs for just 1 year, shocking treatment of a good man who served our great club with passion, Dignity and respect, the board should be ashamed of themselves.

28 Jul 2016 16:26:04
It should have been handled differently but he was offered a role and turned it down. With FFP we can't just have the guy on the payroll doing nothing out of nostalgia. He did an amazing job through the years and was paid for doing it.

For me it doesn't matter who was in charge when he had the testimonial, West Ham as a club afforded him the honour which rarely/ if ever gets given to a youth team coach and has recognised and praised by managers, fans and owners throughout the years and rightfully so.

Its sad to move on but Westley is doing a good job, times change. I'm sure he'd always be welcome at the club but it was never a job for life despite past glories. I'm a little disappointed he felt the need to go to the press rather than keep it internal and also the club allowed it to be handled in such a manner but I have no issue with the decision itself.

This 'Tesco Stadium' business must be a wind up right? Surely no self-respecting football club can call its stadium 'Tesco Stadium'. I honestly don't care about the money - we need to keep our identity and dignity.

28 Jul 2016 13:19:42
Dignity has been flushed down the toilet after this summer and slowly losing identity along with the rest of the country.

28 Jul 2016 14:13:24
What do you mean when you say the country is losing its identity?

28 Jul 2016 16:28:14
Highest bid wins right? Not sure we'd have the right to veto even if we wanted to, think we only get a slice of the money after the 1st 4m. Get the retorts ready we are going to get all sorts of abuse over this!
