How interesting, Austin, Hernandez, Zaza, Sow, Jimenez, Burak, Moses, Matri, Campbell, Slimani, etc etc etc were we ever interested?

Think the whole lot you mention above were just a smoke screen to deflect away from the current position and that is, that there is no more money.
All of us would just like the truth not lies and false promises, we are 3 or 4 players short of last seasons 1st team squad, DGS how the hell are we going to cope?

I am sure you appreciate Honky that there is only so much you can borrow. Also other clubs are probably better run and don't have players on ridiculously long contracts on fortunes. I know it isn't his fault, and I am not blaming him because we would all earn as much as possible but, Andy Carroll is on £90,000 a week, Nolan was on £50,000. Teams like Norwich have their top players earning half that, so that is where the money goes.

Is there any reason that dgs won't put 6-7 mill for joel campbell its worth a punt and not that bad considering his ages and where he can pay likelihood is they would be able to recoup most if not all of that if things went sour?

Ok guys shout me down but at this point I think we should bring Defoe back, yes it's short term but the boy is and always been prolific. We're not moving forward this window, so let's make sure we get goals.
The wide player issue, i'm totally flabbergasted, and not got the strength to go into how incompetent the dgs have handled this.
Any shouts for Defoe even though short term this season and use as a back up next when /if we get ourselves straight

In anothe piece of top PR by our chairman he's now said basically that they wanted benitez as our manager and he was 3 hours away from joining

Although I think this whole period smacks of penny-pinching and I don't like Adebayor's attitude long term, it may not be such a bad thing in the short term.
In the past he has turned it on for the first few matches at a new club and he is almost unplayable when he does.
During that period, perhaps we can get Carroll properly fit instead of throwing him in too early only to break down again. Get Sakho fit in body (and mind?) and Valencia fit again. May carry us through to January OK when, maybe, we can look again.
I think Song is a waste of time. He went right off last season. I would like to see Poyet persevered with.

Hii Todd, I understand where you are coming from BUT, in this case wh are desperate for A striker of some kind wh loan money goes back to adebayor to wind up his contract there, IF and it's avery big If adebayor gets 15/20 goals this season, THAT won't be doing spurs any favours, as it's likely to raise wh league position, and he's free to sign again the following season IF he is a success , all BIG IFS, but that's why I personally don't concern myself, with a players history too much only their ability, regards IRONMIKE

I agree Todd, and frankly its embarrassing, they messed us about last min in the last window Levy knew what he was doing, and took the p*** out if WH especially the board out if revenge for the OS.
If the DGS had any pride other than counting how much they have in there piggy bank, they should let this run and pay the money for Yilmaz even if it cost a 2m euro more, and than turn around and say thanks Levy but no thanks, and let them be stuck with a £100g a week player
