I know we have shortlisted near on 20 players for Jan, however one that particularly stuck out for me was Bafetimbi Gomis
He would be a good buy/loan in the transfer window, he is strong, quick, has a good strike and a strong header on him!
Scored 4 in 10 so far this season for Lyon, not too shabby either, and for his current market value of around 8m I think could be one of the better names on the shortlist
Being from French league 1 the word 'Maiga' resounds in my head though, hmmm we shall see
Look at our situation with BFS at the helm, would you come and join? get rid of Sam first then tempt strikers

It is time for another Manager to come to the rescue of our beloved West Ham United. Sadly as relected in othe posts BFS will not win us anything as he never really has anywhere else, and we need someone with Passion - Di Canio? Maybe not as he is too voaltile (love him to bits though) Alan Curbishley? still out ofwork after how many years? Martin Allen? lot of experience in the lower leagues but no real premiership experience. slaven Bilic? did well at international level but what about the daily grind of Club level. My best wish for anyone who may possibly be a good manager, othe than Sir Alex coming out of retirement would be for Malky if he finally gets fed up with his Chairman - ex hammer and did well at Watford and Cardiff any other suggestions welcome.
How about Slavan Bilic at the helm with Julian Dicks as his assistant, anyone agree?

Defoe rumoured to have been offered a deal out in Toronto! I really want to see him back at west ham, just to use him to keep us in the PL the season and maybe bang in a few next season against the spuds, that's good enough for me!
