I've supported West Ham for 20 years, and seen the team relegated on more than occasion. So a quick question.
Would you prefer pretty football in the Championship / League 1, or Sam keeping us in the Premier League. Ps pretty football & Premier League do not always mix if you don 't have £100m to spent on players each year!

Not many people have mentioned getting rid of sam pal

Agree but Sam displays a lot of I insensitivity. I don't think he has made any effort to get close to the fans hence many find his arrogance annoying

He believes his own rubbish doesn't he, ' I'm a manager who has never been relegated', yes ok sam, being sacked by a team who have got relegated due to your performances kind of counts. he has got more front than brighton

You know what I would love to see? I would love to see, once (if) we are mathematically safe, for the fans to decide which team we field for the remaining games of the season as an experiment. If all west ham fans took to a vote on the clubs official website about which players they would like to make the starting 11 and in which formation, the ones with the most should go out and play purely for the fans. Its not fair that we get to see this terrible quality of premier league football. Now is not the time to change, but once mathematically safe, why not ay? There are obvious changes that people would make to our team to play a more attacking style of football and I bet the results would surprise a fair few people!

Wow, totally agree. I've supported my beloved hammers for over 40 years and I have seen some rubbish but last night was terrible. It seems that Sam has only one tactic in mind and no way of addressing matters should it go wrong. Something has to change for the better and it has to start with the man at the helm

I got to ask, how many of our starting 11 last night would get into another premier leageu team, honestly.

Not many I would presume

I would go for Demel, Reid, Collins/Tomkins, Armero across the back allowing Armero to get forward down that left wing

Then I would place Noble holding midfield on his own with Downing and Jarvis out wide. Diame and Nolan attacking midfield feeding off Carroll

This is simply a couple of small changes to Big Sams lineup so he would still feel comfortable but at the same time moving towards the attacking style of play as we have a left back basically playing a left wing back postion and then 2 feeding off carroll instead of 2 holding midfielders

Guarantee we pick up points or at least goals!

Morrison would be back in the team that's for sure, someone picking the ball up and running at defences is what we have missed since Alladyce dropped him!

Is anyone else getting rather frustrated with Allardyce? 'let me remind west ham fans why playing against 10 men isn't easy, because we have played with 10 men twice this season and won both games' OK Arrogant catfish first of all, the cardiff game, already a goal up 15 mins to go and we just sat back, had we been losing, we would of had an even greater lack of creativity. second game, swansea, already two goals up and our striker got sent off. So Sam, enough of the seahorse. Last night was honestly the worst game I've ever been to in my life. This is the same team that got the draw at Chelsea bar Carroll, Matt Taylor in centre midfield? really sam? because he made a few blocks in the role against chelsea he has now fixed his spot, has he got any creativity? no. Diame on the left wing, have you forgotten those Toure style runs through midfield last season, the ones that would lift the croud and cause havoc, obviously so. Downing on the right, why the hell would you play him on the right? how many times have you ever seen downing cut in and stick on in the top corner? George McCartney/Linda, why why why sign Pablo Armero on a loan and stick with McCartney, I know he is solid but Armero is a lot better a lot faster, he will be another attacking option. We have also signed an italian international who gets 5 mins at the end of an away game. The team needs to be changed THIS ONE IS NAKERED.

Perfectly summed up man! I'm going to the West Ham United v Lpool game next weekend from ireland. So paying for flights and everything not to mention the 60 quid tickets. I can't get over all the time and tbh haven't done much with sam at the helm but I wanna see more games before the mo. After that performance last night I don't know. Has to go in the summer, no excuses! Billic or Laudrup are the men to take us forward!

Quite frankly, if we lose allardyce we won't stay up next year, the team is built around him and only him so this is a massive flaw bringing in llaudrup when he plays passing football and we have andy carroll up front. Next, we have just one a match nd he has once again kept us in the top flight, typical westham fans never happy even when a lot of things are going in our favour, when we are struggling for survival and barely survivng next year that's when we sack allardyce not when he's keeping us up each year with a team quite frankly is championship quality, so I for one support allardyce

I wrote the original post, I haven't said get rid of sam, I said its frustrating when our bench and reserves is better than our starting line up. regards
