Very quiet at upton park, the game to be fair was dull as dishwater to say the least I accept your not going to play well every game and to win games when your not at your best is a good habit to have but slav must be worried about the continual slow starts in games and the inability to put the lesser teams in the league to the sword. Bit disappointed today it was a good opportunity to show sam how far we had come on since his departure and send him home with a flea in his ear but not to be in fact if sunderland had gone away with a point I don't think we could of complained. Still onwards and upwards a quick look at the table reminds me to stop moaning and spuds on there way were I bet we come out the traps like a greyhound with the runs.

I think that was the quietest I've ever heard Upton Park yesterday Paul . I know we wasn't at our best but all u could hear was moans and groans . anyway well happy with the 3 points even if we did ride our luck a bit, I'm sure we will up our game for the spuds on Wednesday 5th in the league and a quarter final fa cup to Look forward to . anyone know when Tomkins is expected back?

Yeah, very disappointing performance against Sunderland who realistically were very poor also. Its becoming a bit of a bad habit with us now where we start very slowly in matches and grow into it. Problem if course is that if we play like that against a half decent team we could be 2 or 3 down before we actually start.
As they say however, decent teams still find a way to win even when they play poorly.
