Why pay £42m for lackazette when we could probably get bacca and batshuyi for about £45m.

I understand what your saying phil but at the moment lacazette is certainly the best of the three, debatable weather he is the best value for money though, from wars been said and what each player has said I'm not sure any of them actually want to join us anyway

over the weekend social media has us also going for zaza and benteke no idea what's true and what isn't now, ED gave us a good update a couple of days ago and I can't think things would've changed that much so I'm guessing it's nearly all BS anyway

I'd still like to see us nab Braithwaite would be a nice upgrade on valencia who may suprise a few people

I think lacazette himself has brought the arsenal rumours on himself by saying he wants to go there not sure if there's any truth in that at all.

I don't like the idea of us putting ALL OUR EGGS in one basket with Lacazette! If he wants to join us why isn't he asking to leave but instead we make a bid and Lyon increase his valuation so we increase the bid. I say forget him and look elsewhere.

I wasn't really disagreeing phil I'd prefer to go after players that are obtainable even if we ever manage to negotiate a deal with lyon before the player retires! there's no guarantee or even a hint he wants to play for us anyway, the point was really trying to make is I think he would be more effective over a whole season than bacca or/ and batshuayi

now Liverpool have mane will benteke be available I wonder?
