HI fellas, just discuss momentarily the sour grapes of barry Hearn, and the olympic stadium, some time ago Hearn was in discussion with wh, about the scenario, and I understand wh were going to send players there both on loan and permanent, to aid orient and let orient perhaps use the stadium should they get involved in a Cup run, and had a bigger crowd to watch a game, for reasons unknown Hearn suddenly switched sides, and tried to help Tottenham, to get the stadium, when it went belly up. He has since tried every trick in the book to thwart wh progress to the stadium, all to no avail, now he is banging on about a secret agreement, there is none, it's aCONFIDENTIAL agreement, there is a difference between the two words mr Hearn, it's like the agreement you had with your italian purchasers CONFIDENTIAL,, you backed a loser in the race with Tottenham, tough, don't make yourself into a mug, Your son eddie, is doing a fantastic job at boxing promotion, be proud of him and call it aday! ironmike

{Ed007's Note - I'd take Barry Hearn up here to run Scottish football, Mike. He fired a blast at the whole Scottish game (you'll find it through Google) a few months back and he hit the nail on the head for a lot of people.}

HI ed 007! Yes barry Hearn is a clever man no one is in any doubt about that , but only he knows all the reasons he suddenly switched sides, he came unstuck, it happens to all of us in one way or another, it's just time for him to , accept that and move on, perhaps, as you say to Scottish football, he is clever enough to do agood job at whatever sports entertainment world.could offer, he doesn't need the dough, perhaps he's got too much time on his hands, regards , IRONMIKE

{Ed007's Note - The stadium thing isn't something I followed that closely but I do remember Hearn being very vocal about it on TV. I can only guess that his switch was like most things in football today and was financially based.}

OK a name never mentioned, quality and should be cheap I reckon. Podolski. Can play up front or in the left of a front 3. worth a sniff?

25 Jun 2015 14:23:21
Barnie, his name has been banging around for ages. Yes he's cheap on the market, wh could have probably got him on board this window, but he is on 138, 000 a week at arsenal, and he does not want to drop below 100k a week, that's abit rich for wh, certainly at this time, and he is no youngster either, regards IRONMIKE

Big fan of Podolski, but Mike is right, 100k per week and upwards is a bit too strong for WH just yet ;)

what on earth is going on? anybody
