Get with the programme on this rumours site. The topic of conversation and rumour spreading is "Should Sam Allardyce be retained as West Ham manager next season"?

The fact that all West Ham sites are running a poll speaks volumes and shows the fans are not happy.

Social media gives West Ham fans a voice. Sometimes that voice makes uncomfortable listening for those in power. Hundreds of thousands of us use social media to vent our views on all things West Ham most days of the week. It's rare that we all come together as one but in a unique, probably one-off initiative, virtually all the most popular West Ham sites, blogs and forums have decided to come together and run a unique poll on Sam Allardyce's future. It asks one significant question:

Should BFS be our manager next season? Easy answer is NO!

What he said.

Exactly. What more can be said. FOrget your transfer rumours abd let's get with the programme

FAT SAM once said that he had spoken to lots of people about the West ham way and nobody could tell him what it is. Even stupid Geordie Shearer refers to their being "NO WEST HAM WAY". Well
the West Ham way was never better expressed than in the words of Ron Greenwood himself who said this:

"The crowds at West Ham have never been rewarded by results or Trophies but they keep turning up because of the good football they see. Other clubs will suffer from the old bugbear that results count more than anything. This has been the ruination of English soccer. "

I am from Middlesbrough and have supported my beloved hammers and followed them all over the country since I was 7 when my father used to take me to West Ham games because he followed them. I'm now 53 and I can honestly say that the reason I started supporting the hammers was because of the football they played which was so eye catching, fast flowing and exciting, with youngsters in the team from the once famous "academy" where we produced Lampard, Terry, Carrick, Joe Cole to name but a few.

To watch our team play the way they play now is sould destroying and heart breaking. I don;t care what Allardyce or Shearer say, there is a west ham way of playing but unfortunately its laid to rest under BIG FAT SAM.

Its strange because normally my little boy is excited because West ham have stayed up and he's already planning for the new season. I've heard absolutely nothing from him over the last few weeks and the conversation of his season ticket and new shirt for next year is missing. I know something's wrong and its not because he has outgrown his love of the club.

I'm sick and tired of hearing rumours about what Sam is or isn't going to do in the summer. Sam needs to go otherwise their will be nobody in the stands to which the crap we are dishing up.

And don't tell me that what Sam has done is good for the club because we stayed in the Premier league and he got us promoted first time. that's all history and its time for the club to move onwards and to improve and their is no possible way we can imrpove under Sam no matter who we sign.

Time for him to go and go get Laudrup or Pardew

Never mind Sam Allardyce and his summer transfers, read this

Well the poll maybe be pointless in the end and we have to endure another brain numbing season next year. but what I can't believe is that G&S sit in their directors box and quietly think to themselves

"We own this club, were happy with the investment, we are more than happy that BFS has brought the stability we were looking for and we are delighted the punters bought into the 10 point plan and now we are delivering everything the paying public want from the match day experience".

G&S - Why are we having polls as a fanbase - yes we are fickle and demanding, but West Ham fans are the genuinely some of the most passionate fans in the world due to the traditions and former greats. The club was built on tradition from home counties to East End. The global brand is there for the milking, as far a field as Europe, to Oceanic and Asian lands. Why, Why, Why in the days of the tv revenue merry-go-round and sponsorship deals, and potential to bring investors on board for the OS - do we still feel that the guts are being ripped out of the club from one man that should be paid off and sent packing.2million or 8million it does not matter the cost, a job has been done by the current manager - which all fans are hugely thankful for, yet the global brand - our vehicle to higher echelons of football greatness needs a new driver, yep a new manager with passion, craft, intelligence and respect for the fans. The time is now before the end of the season, give SUPER SLAVEN BILIC or Koeman time to come in clear out the dead wood, scout UK and Europe and prepare for a new defining season leading up to the launch of our global brand. A vehicle needs to be shiny and new, a driver intelligent and composed, with the sense to take an alternate route if their is congestion on the roads (so I mean BFS plays plan A Hoofball - no plan B) - Bilic like Di Canio will bleed claret and blue for our club, he is more qualified than most and knows the club. Surely the opportunity to make change is necessary now, yes you are scared for your investment, but are you scared the fans will walk away and not renew season tickets, buy merchandise and not promote the brand that has the potential to go global. Think the Italian Hammers, Balkan Hammers, Indonisian Hammers, Australian Hammers, Scandanavian Hammers. What does BFS bring for the poor souls who spend moeny to watch dross. Where is the global attraction going? Its going down the pan for the sake of stability and dross. PASSION I SAY, PASSION!

That is all.

Since becoming a Season Ticket Holder at Upton Park in 2008 I feel like I've aged twice as fast as I should have.

Under Gianfranco Zola I watched some nice football being played, but I also watched us lose more often than win. We couldn't put the ball in the back of the net consistently enough and we looked like conceding against almost everyone. When the two David's let Zola go, I was disappointed but not surprised.

Under Avram Grant I watched West Ham capitulate. We were dreadful. We didn't pass the ball to any real effect, we didn't attack with any real intention, and defensively we looked clueless. I was in complete agreement that Grant had to go, and when he was sacked I was overjoyed.

Under Sam Allardyce in the Championship we looked a good side, as I expected considering we kept the vast majority of our squad together after we were relegated. Since being promoted we have blown hot and cold in games. Against Crystal Palace and Hull City at home we looked terrible, but against Liverpool at home we looked like a completely different side. Allardyce has consolidated West Ham in the Premier League, and considering the fact our main striker was out for the majority of the season, I don't think we have done too badly this season. Defensively we have the 2nd or 3rd best clean sheet record in the league. Our problem this season has been goals, we don't score enough. We have no real creative spark. We play a formation of 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 however you choose to look at it, and in this formation our Wingers need to be chipping in with more goals. Jarvis has scored twice this season and Downing is yet to score.

At this moment in time I am completely torn. Half of me wants to get rid of Allardyce and give the reigns to someone more creative in the hope that we find that spark that is missing, but the other half wants us to stick with Allardyce and allow him to try and find that creative spark with some Summer additions. The problem I have is that, I don't know if players are going to want to play for West Ham at the risk of playing "19th Century Football" under Allardyce. Are those creative players we need going to turn us down because they feel Allardyce can't change?

What are your thoughts?
