Yes we had another bad day at the office, but why is it we have so many bad days when AC plays and we didn't before hand

Last season we were playing good football and doing well, and then, AC and KN were fit and thrown into a team full of confidence, defending well and scoring goals.

Time has rolled on and another manager but we are at the same position. We are doing really well with our best start for years and then AC is back from injury. All of a sudden he is back in the team and we're back playing to HIS STRENGTHS which does NOT suit our style of play.

Yesterday he was shocking (£16m worth of shocking) . The team hasn't been the same since his return. When will our managers learn that he DOES NOT FIT. Time to either make him a permanent member of the bench as an impact sub for the last 20 mins or sell him and get a striker who works hard closing people down a la Sakho.

Bilic says Sakho is his main striker so why was SAKHO out on the right?

Noble was another. Too many times is he out of position and loses the ball, mis places passes or takes dead balls that are shocking.

And finally Jenkinson. The sooner he's gone the better. Has he been sent by Arsenal to disrupt cause he's doing a great job.

SB has to wake up. Drop AC, Noble and Jenkinson. Play Sakho on his own with Song replacing Noble. Move tonks out on the right replacing Jenkinson and put Ogbonna in the middle wioth Reid. Get Antonio involved.

There cannot be a west ham supporter that does not agree with virtually all of the comments, I did say some time ago watch out when carrolls fit it will create headaches of the wrong sort and so it has! I put my head in my hands when Tomkins repeated the watord pass again! We must play ogbonna, Tomkins at rb, drop jenkinson, get rid of Carroll ASAP, play moses and sakho up front and give the missing Antonio a shot he CANNOT be worse than Carroll, who frankly was made to look like the clumsy cart horse, take Sunderlands 8m losing his wages would be a bonus we need pace and guile up front, there is talk that dgs want Carroll played to put him in the shop window! that's a mistake! as he is devaluing his sale price every time he sets foot on the field, after this weekend we must get agrip! IRONMIKE.

Hi Phil, I agree with much of what you say, I think now he will drop AC, Noble and Jenkinson and put in Obiang, Ogbonna and Antonio (Tomkins going to Right Back) . Antonio will be hungry as hell (i hope) .

Agree shopwindow Ironmike, but he is a passenger at the moment, he has no interest and I forgot to say, after the Tomkins error, he was moaning at Noble, with outspread arms.

Like Carroll is the amazing defender, has Watford slipped his mind? If he would focus on scoring and keep the Team spirit.

Carroll is a divisive character (somehow) for the Team, perhaps his wages, his attitude, his whatever. I think Big Sam coaxed the dgs into buying him, but honestly he's been their biggest error of judgement. Not just with hindsight, but after 1 season on loan, we knew what we were getting.

got to agree phil. jenkinson can't defend or cross a ball making him virtually pointless no idea what's happen there he looked good last year

noble is way to slow to be effective in our team he's starting to remind me of the crab ray wilkins when he does get the ball it always goes sideways plus he miss timed at least 3 tackles that he couldve been booked and subsequently sent off for because he has no pace

Carroll does not fit into the way bilic wants to play at all much too slow. he has only been picked because sahko and valencia are injured thoo I think. but I will say this if you are going to play him play someone ie sahko close to him to get on the end of the flick ons he won a few yesterday but there was no one there and also try to put some decent crosses in for him.

The shame of it is that we have already proved we aren't a bad side. WHY do managers persist in disrupting a decent team to accommodate players returning from injury who CHANGE the way a team plays. Even Payet said "the ball keeps flying over his head". Something is not right with AC in the team. We got to take whatever Toon or Macam's offer and go get a hard working forward.

Ironmike, Do you think there is something in Carrolls contract that makes him play when fit?

i agree with the above comments, the same thing happened last year when carroll came back into the team.

Absolute bloody travesty yesterday. Noble, rash tackling, poor judgement, and lack of any crucial balls. Sooner Song returns to full fitness, the better. Jenkinson is a shadow of his former self this season, I am now glad that we opted to loan again. Moses offers nothing but pace, which was useless against a quick Spurs fullback. Carroll is a complete liability. Embarrassed to call him a West Ham player. Zarate needs his chances, and Sakho needs to be playing in the position where he has proven time and again he is effective.
Lanzini was a rare gem yesterday, good running, good movement, and a lovely finish at the end.

long time reader first time poster, I just think we need to all calm down, even the so called best team get it wrong sometimes, just take a look at Real, arsenal and City's results this weekend.
