It makes me larf how Holloway, Jol and Pardew are already under pressure and lots of talk about them getting the chop and yet nothing has been said about Sam Allardyce who if anything should be the first to go. His tactics and one dimentional play is a thing of the past and only going to see us go down. He did well with what he had available but time to get rid of bad rubbish and get a fresh outlook on things. Di Matteo, Zola, Poyet are all names linked with good football pedigree. Just hope the board don;t persevere to long and then pay the ultimate penalty with relegation

Wonder what Martin O'Neill is up to?

DIdn;t we try O'Neill previously and shot ourselves in the foot by prematurely announcing he was joining us. Reckon he would do a good job for us

Yeah, I'd like O'Neill or Poyet. Both great options to boring old Sam. Remember however that Sam has never had a team relegated so firts time for everything

Id say no mon

Ed - Any idea what Martin O'Neill is upto. The next sacking will be either Alan Pardew, David Moyes, Martin Jol or Sam Allardyce and he is capable of managing any of these including Man Utd {Ed039's Note - Taking a break I guess, although I think he will be the next Ireland manager)

Ladbrokes have the odds shortening on Alan Pardew, Martin Jol and Sam Allardyce getting the sack. The next 3 games should provide a real pointer.

Allardyce is a joke and so are his tactics. Then there is the small matter of his transfer business which is also shocking. Time for him to go. Get Poyet in who at least believes in football not kick and run and who would attarct the right players to our club. DOn;t care if we go down as long as we get rid of stupid fat sam and his stupid tactics

Bit harsh but understandable where your coming from. Very poor summer transfer window with RAT & ADRIAN joining before we had the striker debacle and Bids for Bony and every other striker under the sun only to end up with DOWNING! Not impressed by the dealings and maybe if we'd bought a striker we'd be in the same situation but better to have a goalscorer and not need one than to not have a striker and need one. They wasted and yes I say wasted money on Stewart Downing when they could have made a move for Rhodes for £6m plus Taylor, Maiga, McCartney, Collison and any other trash we got hanging on

We needed an out and out striker and we wasted the last of our budget on Downing and then height of all embarrassment brought back Carlton Cole. Worst move we ever made was buying Carroll. It was said during the summer break that our priority was to sign A STRIKER and we never did. How many players were we linked with? 5, 10, 15 or more but none are going to come to a club who has made it perfectly clear they are going to play second fiddle to DUMBASS Carroll. They could have let DUMBASS go back to Liverpool and used that money to tie up Lukaku, BA or Rhodes with possibly Hooper. What a sham.

Its time for Elliot Lee to have a run out again soon for the first team. Maybe not against the spuds or city because that may damage his confidence, but then there is Swansea, Villa, Norwich to look forward to. I think he could be a valuable asset and tying him into a few year contract will stop someone coming in and swooping him if he does turn out to show signs of a top class premier league striker
