Hi fellas; still getting used to the rarified air in the top 4; hope we don't get nose bleed !! We did not start well yesterday and could have been 2 down on another day; we must start faster against Mr Aguerro next week or we could find ourselves in trouble quickly; great finishing and could have been more at the end of the game; Stoke have asked to be kept informed about carroll situation; sam immediately got back with shawcross swap plus dough our way; they would swap nzonzi but not shawcross at this time; we will definetly offer for vlar if reid is going but as were behind LVG and dutch connections this looks unlikely; Rolando for some reason favours WBA; its definetly defence that needs adding too; dgs like schar sam not keen: another forward is on the cards; but no certain target at present; My personal take is Adrian not good enough at this level and this position will have too be addressed at the end of season if not sooner; without lloris spurs would be bottom 6 and would city be at the top without hart doubt it? think you get my reasoning? let's hope for a point at least next week as we can certainly trouble their defence IRONMIKE

Very interesting! Carroll swap deal woud be great business. For obvious reasons Shawcross would be a good addition.

Carroll to Stoke, I haven't heard anything so funny in a very long time.
Carroll is going nowhere, we need him!
If anything happens to Valencia or Sakho do you honestly believe we would go back to Cole up front?

Hi Gerry, can ASSURE you stoke made call to be kept up to date re carroll; does not mean much at present; but with NO disrespect to you : I remember you said no chance diame to hull, the rest is history; but you like everyone are free to make their own opinions. regards to you IRONMIKE

You mean that Diame went to Hull just as you told us he would????

Sounds a bit ridiculous to me so there can't be any truth in STOKE wanting Carroll. Can Their????

Come on guys, IRONMIKE has been proven to be right again and again so why doubt him now!

Ironmike, I mean no disrespect to you either but Stoke! They couldn't afford his wages even if he would take a step down and join them.
He has a massive house in Chigwell, his other half has a business near where they live, why would he want to go? Even if he doesn't play he picks up £80,000 per week!!

{Ed001's Note - Stoke have plenty of money mate, complete fallacy to suggest they can't afford him.}

Ed
In no way do I want to argue but
Please read this from official financial report from Stoke City.
The club has filed its accounts for Pulis's final season in charge, showing a £34, 053,000m loss and continued financial reliance on the Coates family.
2013-2014 showed a loss of £63, 540,000

{Ed001's Note - what are you talking about? The club have not released their accounts. They file theirs as part of the Bet365 Group, owned 95% by the Coates family, which showed a loss of £31m to the group as a result of Stoke. There are definitely no figures released for 2013-14 as the 2012-13 ones were only done in June of this year! Yes they are reliant on the Coates family, but I would love to know where you are getting these 'official' figures from? By the way they are expecting a number of higher earners to leave before the start of next season, which would give them a bigger wage budget. Not that I believe they are after Carroll, because they have an extremely strict medical at Stoke and he would in no way pass it.}
