Our manager has to be willing to put time into our youth team. Are we not known as the academy of football?

What happened to our youth players that we had so much success with.

Under Allardyce I'm afraid youth players won;t get the opportunity and when they do they will be thrown into the lions den a la Forest.

in the old days the youth players good enough trained with first team players, ate with first team players, changed with first team players etc etc

Time for a change or we will never have a youth good enough again.

Moyes would get the best out of Morrison so go get him

It's more paper rubbish he's not their all the time but the u21s all train with first team and u18s play the u21s every Friday after training

If I had a choice I would have to agree with recent polls and select David Moyes as Sam Allardyce successor. He did well at Everton and regularly got them into top 10 and were a team to be feared, especially at Goodison park and he brought in some classy players.

Ok, he didn't do that great at Manchester United but he has a good eye for a bargain in the transfer market, his teams are usually defensively sound and he also advocates passing the ball around making the ball do the work, with quick counter attacking football away from home. At goodison they used to batter teams.

We could do a hell of a lot worse

I have to agree with the moyes choice. Whilst Koeman would certainly get us playing football the proper way again passing the ball around as football should be played not the hoofball we currently play. The only thing is that we have some decent youth players that need to be brought along gradually and I think moyes would be better for that just look at rooney and berkely

I think we need to get our manager situation finalised before we start making any approach for another player. It seems at the moment according to reports we've targetted about 30 players of which 28 of them are defenders??

If anything, our first priority HAS to be creative/goal scoring midefielders and strikers. Admittedly our Full backs leave a lot to be desired and are long in the tooth so they desperatley need improvement but next season we have to offer more threat up front.

Instaed of looking abroad and paying £5m for Niang surely strikers closer to home who are banging in goals in the Championship should be the way to go. McCormack or Rhodes would be great shouts
