Ironmike thank you for the updates, I sadly think Newcastle must be thankful there are able to rely on beating us for their safety, our demise since Christmas has been shocking thankfully we had enough points on the board by then and more to the point there were worse teams than us.
It is unlikely many of our squad would get in a prem team anywhere else, once the manager is decided upon I really do think we are on the verge of an exciting era, and not just the usual new season euphoria that is normally followed by a season of struggle.
sadly on ssn they have already decided we are relegation material once Sam moves on.
Keep up with the updates please.

Agree with all you have posted, whilst I respect everyone's views. I had a chat with paul merson just before xmas at a charity fund raising event, he went on to say he would be shocked if west ham did not finish in top six this season, as he had been so impressed with them , I said to him I would be delighted if we were top eight, as it was obvious we just did not have the squad depth to sustain that ex halted position, just after that Merson said on ssn wh could be dark horses for top four, and the panel broadly agreed, enough said!! Point being, ex footballers, and commentators, are just pundits, who explain their view, just like you and me IRONMIKE
