Hii phil, But you must not forget the fiasco he caused at upton park, walked off all agreed, with terms and contract details, never returned to apply his signature, the Talks were lengthy, and dgs apparently bent over backwards on some of the details he just never returned to sign, went off to swansea, and signed for them the next day! Just don't know if DGS would revisit this situation, only perhaps if SB insisted, it's agreat shame, he played exceptionally well against us couple weeks back, He would be a great fit for the style SB wants to play, BUT? IRONMIKE.

hi phil and Mike I'm also guessing mike he would not come cheap I know we have money to spend this year but I'm guessing Swansea would want a chunky transfer fee as he has played well this year would be a good replacement for valencia tough who is clearly out of his depth in the PL, on the note of the goals we've let in I'd make a RB a priority we have the firepower going forward and dgs will add to that so just a good solid defensive player there would be good for me.

Hi fellas, D4 and phil, First I totally agree with phil there is a creeping defensive problem, which has been forgotten by the amount of goals scored, This needs a real tighten up, for next season. Second D4 Unfortunately G De Wiel is already in talks with some top clubs, Nkoulou, would be great, he has been discussed at length many times before, a couple of seasons back WH would have been pleased to get him for 10 m, now, I would take him immediately, as the people I personally like Dragovic, Kamil Glik ( who would be excellent for us ) would cost 10 m for sure, but I think he's off to spain, Feghouli very good player, apparently, a bit of a wild card off the field, we certainly need a competition in goal Randolph has never cracked it in my opinion, he's just not good enough, IRONMIKE.

Is there any truth in the rumour Chelsea looking at releasing a few players included in this Begovic who I thought was a half decent goalie before he went to them.

Great signing in nordtveit, looks like a song replacement, I can see obiang going and believe reece oxford shouldn't be loaned out, give him some playing time next season, don't believe we need to spend big on a center back when we have young reece Burke ready. Need full back cover and a left winger but after Stoke game we need a top striker I fancy lacazette. But I think it all depends on man United beating palace in the FA cup. Top player want European football. COYI.

I think lacazette and batschuayi both want CL football and big wages I think ed002 already said if an English team with CL football comes in they will want to go there.

And probably the reason why we have heard no more since the bid is because they are waiting to see if we are playing in Europe next year.
