hi mike

Moyes would be my selection. People talk about how he wasn't good enough at Man Utd, but I tell you that fergie is rarely that wrong.

And when Moyes was at Everton they built up a formidable reputation as being a club nobody relished playing

Allardyce has had more than his fair share of chances and as we have now seen with Villa a new manager can make a lot of difference

I say let Sam get out to sunderland, let Neil mcdonald run the team until the end of the season whilst we line up Sam;s replacement

Has Sam allardyce gone to Sunderland yet. This could be a blessing in disguise

Hi, phil this could be " a blessing in disguise " but it does look like dick advocaat for Sunderland job, I know it would be many fans dream, Allardyce leaves, and west ham getting compensation from Sunderland as well, but unlikely, I understand, Martin glover has been asked by dgs to report to them as well as Sam on scouting targets, he has been working only with Sam to date, not sure about connotations on this, this. Has been a point of conflict with dgs and tony henry, and shows no signs of going away, it must be remembered that Henry worked closely with David moyes at everton, so it Looks a possibility that moyes is back in the frame, especially that dgs have now privately said, it is unlikely that Allardyce ( if he leaves )would be replaced by a manager without premier league experience, if this is the case, it certainly narrows the candidates down sharply, therefore we can assume dgs are not going to stick their necks out on a fashionable coach, but stick to safety plan, they realise only too well if west ham are ever going to move up in the world, they have to work from the top down, but if the unlikely happens, and we get another 14/16 points from the remaining games, than the whole situation could be stood on its head, but I can't see this happening, can you? IRONMIKE

It may all be coincidence but today Poyet is very likely sacked. Sunderland want Allardyce and Sociedad play tonight (and Moyes is in the frame for our job)

Football is a funny old game
