Looks like Mike Ashley going to lose a lot of coats today . I thought we started poorly again today, improved slightly in the second half I don't think payet should be played on the wing he's much more effective down the middle. I think it's time noble is given a rest too . he should of been subbed instead of obiang who I thought was playing ok. On another note I keep hearing that we are upto our limit with FFP . but surely if we have got rid of amalfitano and sold Jarvis there will be some wages freed up? And I'm convinced zarate will be sold this window so possibly we can get another striker in . thoughts please?

jarvis was on loan before last window shut and amalfatano wasn't registered as far as I know

not sure why we changed tactics today and went with 3 central midfielders and payet on the wing anyway still 5th so not all bad.

Hughsie just watched match choice got to agree payet shouldn't be out wide he needs to be pulling the strings through the middle of the park. The back 4 were a bit all over the place we defiantly need a right back, tommo has done a ok job but to me sometimes he looks lost. As for mr claret and blue mark noble I've said this before you can't knock his passion for the club but let's be honest he ain't good enough to start we have better players in that possion.

Completely agree with hughsie, noble should of went off instead of obiang. I think when lanzini is back payet will play middle role with kouatye and obiang behind with lanzini on left, antonio/ valencia on right and Sakho up top. I also think it's time reid comes back inn.

I think so to if we are going to be a passing team from the back then ogbonna/ Reid partnership at the back for me . ginge has been absolutely superb this season so far but them 2 would be my preferred partnership. I also think that song needs some game time . I can't see any other way of getting him back to his best form if he don't get some game time. I agree with the right back situation as well pauliron Tomkins is a solid right back when defending but offers nothing going forward. I want see Sakho and Valencia up front again (when there both fit) and I don't think that can happen without 2 full backs who get further up the pitch unless we go with 1 holding mid . hopefully we can get Byram in as Jenks is not consistent enough.

not 100% sure of how the FFP works I know we aren't at the spend linit but at the wages limit but is there anything stopping us bidding for byram and then not signing him untill the summer or does this count againest us in anyway?

I reckon if we paid £5m on a 5 year contract, and he's loaned back to Leeds immediately, so they continue to pay his wages, then the amount to put against FFP this season would be £ 5m/ 5 years = £1m, then its half a season so its £ 500k against FFP. Not much in this context.

This is rather simplified, but its along the lines of, would like comments as I'd like to know how it goes too.
