ok just posting on some info,
lacina traore
the medical team were unimpressed with his fitness level seems this guy ain't played for a while and rumours are he is carrying a hamstring injury that's what the hold up to the announcement has been.
thought this to good to be true this signing this guy goes from anzi to monaco to us with very little compatition from other clubs,
ed have seen or heard anything to back this up {Ed039's Note - Not a thing)

Why would Monaco pay all that money for him when he is physically unfit and medically unfit with a dodgy hamstring

As I said just passing on some info that may shed some light on this transfer,
monaco never intended to play him in this window that's why he has been loaned out apparently he has not played since november,
make off it what you will there had to be some kind of catch to this transfer otherwise why was we the only team mentioned.
a number of teams expessed an interest in him 6/12 months ago ie liverpool yet he becomes available on loan,
no takers

Ps I never said or passed on medically unfit, he passed a medical at monaco. an hamstring injury would not prevent a player passing a medical look let's see what the club says the longer it goes on the more ominous it seems

Still no official announcement on traore when the work permit was supposedly agreed over 24hrs ago. still nothing concrete on lescott. 16th day of the transfer window and we still have not tied down a proper signing. meanwhile a club like hull who are not in as much s*** as us have managed to sign 2 strikers, what is it with west ham why can't we get any transfers completed.?If GandS and there sidekick brady were serious about getting us out the s*** surely they could of at least got a good championship striker in by now ie Rhodes, deeney, ings. Is it me or is this transfer window starting to have an all too familiar feel to it.

Yep, the all too familiar WEST HAM rubbish feel where nobody under 50 will be signed and then only as a last minute bargain that nobody else wants.

16th day of the window and West ham have secured the signatures of Carlton Cole and Welegation Wodger. You can see the clubs ambition

The thing about getting lambert and traore and not belfodil, is that it's thinking very this season only, lambert maybe has this and 1, 2 max seasons left in him and traore is obviously back to Monaco at the end of the season. Belfodil would be the one option that would help us in the long term, at 22 and with the possibility of a permanent signing. {Ed039's Note - I have mentioned before, he is dual owned by Inter and Parma, and that makes signing him very complicated)

But I've heard that both teams would be willing to sell for £8m/€11m combined, if we're going to get lambert for £7m surely for 10years younger he's worth £1m more

Seems to me that this is another typical West Ham rubbish transfer window.

If you really believe it (and I don;t) BFS APPARENTLY turned up to Permit Hearing for Traore which has now APPARENTLY been granted but no further news on medical or anything since, however, we have now been linked with other strikers Gilardino and Lambert.

This smacks to me as being full of S_IT.

Sounds like another rumour filled window with little or no action.

Now if I remember right, Sullivan said no cash was available for outright purchases however good wages could be paid.

And then all of a sudden we are bidding for LAMBERT. REALLY?

What happened to traore, Belfodil, Quagrialella, Boriello, Zupata, Kalou etc etc etc etc etc and the list of strikers goes on and on.

How many times have we heard the same rubbish from West Ham during every transfer window and then they end up with scraping together a couple of has been's Petric (great investment he was) and re-signing Carlton Cole after releasing him cause nobody else was available.

What a JOKE!

How is it that big spending, title chasing Hull during this window and Norwich last window can identify a target and they get him whereas Happy Hammers mess about and mess about eyeing and pondering and considering until its too late

If reports are true this morning. Ravel Morrison you are a disgrace! No player is bigger than the club no player is bigger than any club. If you think that by blackmailing the club by going on strike to force the move then you are wrong my fledgling friend. It just show everything we need to know about your character despite your force "I'm a new man" front which clearly you're agents asked you to put up. Good riddance!

Don't believe all the rubbish that gets spouted in the sun.

Leave the kid alone. Has he said 1 word about wanting to leave? No.

These days with twitter and everything he would have made it quite clear but in fact he has done quite the opposite he posted a picture of himself at upton park and tweeted about the lies that people tell.

Fulham are stirring trouble trying to upset him thinking he will earn big money so they get him cheap.

West ham should give him a decent deal. If he is on 15k and someone like maiga is on 38k wouldn't that give you the hump?

Have to agree with above poster this is newspapers trying to stir it up.
barry silkman ravels agent yesterday stated that ravel is happy at west ham and ravel has indicated the same,
i do believe r/m was tapped up by the fulham manager otherwise why else would he say yes I think he wants to come here.
west ham should not consider selling any of there better players to relegations candidates,
and it was only one rag that ran that story and if the report proves untrur West Ham United should consider banning there reporters for a month from the ground and so on

Apparently ravel is threatening to go on strike? I say take the money and run. He has great potential but seems disruptive unless he gets his own way {Ed039's Note - If any club in their right mind wants to pay money for him then their hand should be bitten off, SAF doesnt just get rid of cracking young players, he knew he had a screw loose and that played a major part in him deciding to let him leave Man Yoo)
