rumours that lukaku is up for loan again next season and may even be available for permanent transfer of around £15mil. if we were willing to fork out close to that mark for Carroll which I could see happening due to liverpool's stance on recouperating as much of the 35 as possible, why not put that money toward the battering ram lukaku who has nothced up 15 goals this season? {Ed001's Note - they paid 18m for him, why would they sell for less?}
Yea I read that earlier but same article said he could be available for around 15. ill try find the article again {Ed001's Note - cheers, probably just a lazy journalist making up nonsense again to be honest.}

Everyone is going to think I'm mad on here but why don't west ham try and sign Torres I know his wages will be high but surely chelsea will want to offload him and recoup some money or even ba

How on earth can West ham afford £90k a week on Andy carroll and Newcastle can't? For that amount of money they could have 2 or 3 players especially using the same £12m they are apparently willing to pay. let's look at the scenario, Gary Hooper reportedley £6m will get him, and £4m would get Chris Solly and another £4m would get Ludovic Sane. that's 3 positions West ham need to improve for £14m and they are going to pay £12m for Carroll. Sam says "some money available" what an absolute joke West ham are
It's all about Carroll and Diame for me. Once they're secured Sam will get another striker and I know an offer for hooper is set up. We have more money available than people think. Next season will be even better- just think how many games we were close to winning like spurs, Everton, l'pool and Man U. Keep the faith.

Now I'm not one to be bitter, but I have got to say that if Big Sam was to get Gary Hooper from under the nose of twitchy it would be a small measure of payback because the amount of times he pulled the rug from under us when he was at spurs. Also, I can;'t remember the last time we scored 7 against anyone. Ok, it was Stevenage but Hooper fitted in very well by all accounts. So come on Sam, get Gary Hooper in

Papers today show that West ham are very close to agreeing a £12m fee for Andy carroll with Liverpool. At £90,000 a week I don;t quite see how West ham can afford his wages? Surely a punt on Hooper and or Rhodes would make more sense who's combined wages wouldn't be much more than 100k a week. Utter madness but typical of West ham. What I find more curious is that if Carroll was such a bargain why are SPurs and Newcastle not knocking at the door
