Such a contrast on the way we played yesterday compared to last week against utd. I feel bad for Carroll but thought it would be a blessing is disguise not having him in the team as our style of play reverts back to last season and no one wants to watch hoof ball tactics.
Good to see you back Mike hope you've got some news on the plans for new players or manager.
With Sams contract up in the summer do you think DGS will stick with him or look for a new manager to take us forward?
Personally I think we should say thank you Sam and goodbye and look for a new Manager who will pick the best possible team rather than picking Carroll every week. It appears that Sam feels like he has to use Carroll because he was the man that Sam identified and wanted so desperately to lead the line but at the start of the season we played our best football for years without Carroll.

Allardyce moans that his squad has got injuries at the back. We had the chance to get Hangeland and passed on it and then we could have had Huth and passed on that.
Not great defenders but neither is Collins. More importantly better to have had them than not to
