'then like my dreams' please now is the time to wake up, a very odd season but we are returning to order, sadly regardless of form or ability. let's face it Man u have been poor all season but are in the FA cup semi final and sit 5th in the league, even liverpool are going to finish above us along with citeh and spurs. If by some miracle we finish 4th we might not qualify for europe.
Yes we have done well but certain players have not pulled their weight and having done well in his first season selection and outcome may have been with the gods. To gain the maximum from antonio he must be played 30/ 40 metres upfield. lanzini plus payet are a luxury, placing a greater share of the work on the remainig 9 outfielders. adrian/ rudolph very little between them not reflected in appearamces and as for valencia
12 million and maybe 6 reasonable outings why is everyone on carrolls back. Back to reality, we have improved from poor to average. A great deal of money needs to be invested to live at the top requiring at least 5/ 6 first choice players.
Lets continue to improve without great expectation.

average side? leave it out we've played some great football this year and if it wasn't for poor refereeing we would be sitting 4th in the league and in the FA cup semi final, only one side in the top 6 has beaten us and we beat them in the return game yet we are an average side not really sure what your expecting hammered from our team yes we were poor on weds but we are much better than average.

Absolutely right. Look at our performances this season starting with Liverpool away 3-0, Man City away 2-1, Arsenal away 2-0. An average to bad team doesn't go to those grounds and get results.

OK, against Manchester United on WEDNESDAY we got it wrong, but it was so nearly right. Kouyate hadn't been offside or Carroll had buried his header it would have been extra time and game on. How many times in the past have we moaned that we have no fight and we don't score goals or try hard enough?

We do now! And we can only get better.

Compare this to what Allardyce had us playing? AND, I feel fairly confident we will do Leicester on Sunday.

Top 4 says the original poster. Well I can certainly say that is well and truly out of the question. To add to that if we get done by Leicester this weekend and some other results go against us, we will struggle to finish 5th or 6th. and that my friends is NOT GOOD! If we are going to play Andy Carroll up top on his own we need to play like we did against Arsenal and not how we did against Man Utd. To the by-line and hang balls into the box until we get a proven 15+ goalscorer in the summer. I pray for a top 6 finish!

top 6 is still a great season Steve yes we could be higher but let's face it most of us thought mid table ws best we could do.
