Everyone getting silly about our striker search give ds some credit he has done a great job in the transfer market for us and look what he's already achieved this window, great quality in already. Keep the faith people he is trying to get a world class striker but we do have a wage structure so it's not as easy as "just pay him what he wants" also we are in no debt. Our chairman has done a great job for our club. I'm going to throw a spanner in the works! Who knows we could already have a 20 goal a season striker ANDY CARROLL? He has never played pre season for us so you never know this could be his year.

How long are we going to wait and see if Bacca wants to join us! To me it seems like he is holding out for a bigger wage. Hope this gets resolved soon otherwise we will be in same position as last season.

Agreed and I was all in favour of Bacca, but now it seems he's just waiting for another club to come along or for AC Milan to say "stop here Carlos and we'll pay you less". If his heart isn't in it look elsewhere.
We've been looking at Ben Yedder for the last 18 months and Lyon are looking at him if Lacazette leaves so let's beat them to it and go get him, he's a finisher with lightning pace. Fekir is out there as is Bony, and that Dutch geezer.

Thanks ED0002 and for a very good reason. That's why if we are interested we should make a move now. WHat about Luuk De Jong from PSV with 58 goals in 2 seasons.
I can see we will end up with Van Persie.

Not another Eminike shambles! Balotelli springs to mind released by Liverpool. Van Persie offered by Fenerbahce! Bony handed out on loan.

why when we identify a target does it takes weeks if not months to get the deal over the line when other teams spot players they want, and then get the deal done quick to move on to next target. Its clear we desperately need decent striker cause what we have are not ruthless enough.
Aside from Bacca there are still plenty of gems out there. Look at the dutch geezer that scored 50 odd goals over the last two seasons. Wilfried Bony could be got at a snip of the price Citeh want, Nebir is a class act and of course so is Ben Yedder and his team mate Braithwaite.
If these players stall waiting for other offers we should call it a day and move on. West ham are a big club and about time players start to realise it.
