fabio quagliarella is the man that West Ham should be after. Forget Troy Deeney he is s**** and made to look good by Vydra and the other 13 Udinesse players. I tell you that west ham should get matri or fabio quagliarella. Deadly in front of goal both of them
I think this post spot on either of those juve players would be great. Troy Deeney is likely to go to spurs. and warm bench. they are apparently ahead of us in talks. don't think almeida is on. celtic have bid 3.5m for fingobasson surely he'd prefer the bright lights of London. good value at that price. good point about cb. Diarra can play that position. so wwe just need one striker for a good season.

in the last transfer window g/s said they would not pay excessive agents fees that and big wages.
maybe the reason we have missed out on some players who we the fans thought would be good for us if you have a budget of 25/30 mill and 5 mill plus is going on agents fees then something is wrong.
I for one would like to see rules and guidelines for these agents

Ed can u please tell me which striker would best suit the hammers give us for strikers, and the best one or two please thanks again {Ed039's Note - personally I think Defoe would be best suited but his personal terms would put off WHU)
Ed 39 how can think defoe would fit in with sams style of play one upfront with support from midfield and the wings {Ed039's Note - Then why are folk asking what other strikers should be signed? I think Defoe would be perfect foil for Carroll, thats all, I dont that Defoe will be back)

Well now that we have Downing it looks like we are only looking for a minimum of one more player to come in and act as backup for AC up front, or even contest for the spot.
It has been a frustrating window but I for one am very pleased with the business we have done so far. It seems like the owners and BFS are acting very cautiously with the money we spend and I believe this is the right approach for us (frustrating as it is). We have managed to get two players in for an est £20m that a few years ago costed a combined £55m, and both should fit in with the system well, in positions we needed. We have also got a new LB (which we needed) and two new signings in Morrison and Diarra. If Diarra is half the player he was when he captained France then this looks like a good step forward for us.
I think we are covered on the flanks now and I do not see a place in the team for RVT on the right wing any longer. That leaves us with Maiga and RVT as backups for AC, and I have always thought RVT would be more effective up front.
If one had to go, who would we prefer to see up front, Maiga or RVT?

Common Sam now get us a decent striker on loan and a bit of cover for centre back and well have a great season! First season in ages where we can actually look up and not back straight from the start!

Ed, Now that Downing has signed, where do you think he will play? Jarvo is best on the left but then you could say the same for downing? Thoughts? {Ed039's Note - one on the left and one on the right, a lot of teams play right footers on the left and vice versa)
