Hi fellas well another 0-0. Butland is a superb GK, no question, we huffed and puffed came close. Stoke in fairness, had a couple of great oppurtunities as well, BUT we should have knicked this one in the end. The story is quite clear, yes we have many injuries. BUT wh like stoke lack that ONE forward who. can put the ball away, WHEN we find him. Which will eventually happen wh will become a top six side, I cannot remember the last time Carroll scored a goal, yes he ran about put in a shift. BUT he is there to score. Antonio will improve for sure, Valencia, thank goodness he's back, considering all the injuries we are not bad at all, and still in touch, BUT the squad is far from complete as yet, we are in desperate need ( as are many other teams ) for a top striker, IRONMIKE.

Couldn't agree more. I'd like to see us approach Chelsea again and try and buy Remy outright (he's only getting bench time) and then let Carroll go to Sunderland or toon to offset the purchase.
I think we need a replacement for Jenkinson and I'd like to see us make an early move for the very promising Sam Byram.
Antonio did well at the weekend and surely he must have done more than enough now to keep his place.
Did we get moses on season long loan? If so, he has to go back to Chelsea at the end of the season.

Moses there for the season, he blows hot and cold, I have liked Antonio for a long time he's a little short on finesse. But with time he should come good. As far as remy is concerned. I think he's future depends on how Chelsea do, if they lose a couple more, chances are, they will lash out the dough, come January, and then are bound to let a couple go, maybe then remy will exit, we shall see, This morning palace are jumping on wh toes re zaza, despite karen Brady refutes, we are still being associated with newbies on a daily basis, it's getting harder than ever to sort out the many shadows from the real targets, I am beginning to think that some deliberate false trails are being laid, and some sites are way way off. BUT as you know Phil the injury list will dictate the position, IF wh can get to the summer without buying they will, I personally can see one or two coming in, especially if we let Collins go, but it's atop striker we need the most! IRONMIKE.

A top striker indeed and here's stoopid me thinking that the £16m we paid for Carroll or the £12m paid for Valencia was supposed to have addressed this issue! A combined £28m and neither can hit a barn door from 3 feet (that is of course when Carroll isn't injured and Valencia stays on his feet.

I think it has become abundantly clear that dear old Andy no longer fits the profile of the team. For all his endeavour on Saturday he is just too slow. After numerous challenges in the air it seems to take him an age to get back on his feet and thus we lose momentum. Given Sakhos and Valencia's vulnerability to injury we surely need a "mobile" frontman. Remy is a good shout. Any chance we could prise Ighalo away from Watford? P. S. Agree add a new right back to the Xmas list.

Unfortunately it's not the money a club pays, that guarantees goals, we have had many examples of that, and not only at west ham!, It's a matter of scouting judgement, and a dab of luck as well, WH are long overdue that, BUT it's avery hard call, Do we take a chance on an unknown perhaps. A turkish. Or South American player, A championship star, There's no need to discuss Carroll any further, sooner he's gone the better, Valencia likes to play behind a main striker, , It's possible that berahinho is on his way to spurs in January, If we had him for example, a top six position, would be very viable, it's a hard call to make BUT maybe our turn will come IRONMIKE.
{Ed001's Note - last I heard, West Brom are refusing to deal with Spurs at all, so the whining git Berahino would be available, though I think it would be a mistake if you went for him. He is a spoilt little brat who would be a real problem attitude wise.}

Hii ED so I understand but he's going to be away from WBA, shortly, surely, he's playing for the under 21s again! His price may be beyond west ham at this juncture anyway Whilst we are having a chat I understand that Wh have enquired after stefan keisling of Leverkusen? To be told that Klopps in for him for January? What's your take on this one? Regards IRONMIKE.
{Ed001's Note - you will be lucky to miss out on Berahino, he is going to be another wasted talent the way he is going.
As for Keisling, last I heard nothing was happening, he is keen to join up with Klopp and scouts have been watching him, but that is it. Though I would expect some kind of movement on investigating striker options after that woeful performance by Benteke (again). Right now though, Liverpool have not made any moves towards signing anyone, just taking a look at a few such as a goalie (Patricio).
In my opinion, it is more a case of Leverkusen trying to talk up the price by claiming others are about to bid.}

I know I keep harping on about him, but if we can send Moses (Lets face it he blows hot and cold anyway and can be replaced by Antonio) back to Chelsea, we can then get Remy on loan. Am fairly sure that at this present time he'd be happy to get out!

Remy won't leave chelsea to come to West ham even if chelsea were to let him go -which they won't while they are below us in the league and they don't want to do us favours while they are competing with us -because he wants CL football and we can't offer him that I doubt we could afford his wages anyway.

Morning all, especially IRON MIKE. I'm hearing rumours that we have little or no cash to spend in January (which is fine cause I think we're on the right road and barring injuries have a half decent squad) but I'm also hearing we need to offload a few players. I Believe that any of the following will be released Ginge, O’Brien, Jenks, Henry, Moses, Jelavic and Jarvis but are there likely to be any surprises in January because I hear Allardyce is keen on Tonks and ready to pay £8.5m? Could we see AC going anywhere soon?

It seems Remy may well be available in January::
The striker (REMY) has struggled to make much of an impact this term at CHelsea, often an unused sub as Jose Mourinho selects Deigo Costa or even a midfielder to lead the line.
A number of Premier League clubs were keen on Remy in the summer when Radamel Falcao joined the Blues, and that could be the case again when he is listed in January.
West Ham, Crystal Palace, Spurs, Newcastle, Southampton and Sunderland have all had their names linked with Remy and his goal record is impressive in England.
St Etienne chief Christophe Galtier has confirmed that Remy is available and can leave CHelsea and that he will be a target for them in January.
“He is one of the players that we are interested in, ” Galtier told But Football Club.
“Loïc Rémy has a very interesting profile. He is part of a very big club where he is playing very little.
“We will see if it is possible that Chelsea loan him us, but we will need him to partake in a part of his salary.
“I do not know if it is possible. But Loïc is listed. ” he said.
