Ok trying to answer questions; My personal view is wickham exactly what is needed up front, no point investing good money in players near their retirement, 4.4m bid will of course need to be raised close to 6m but is carroll two and a half times better at 15m? stellar last week informed us wickham was going to sign new contract, this now gone pear shaped. this lad is a bit raw and according to Spanish associates a bit naughty buying champagne for 10-15k a bottle but Morrison makes him look like an angel; sakho still looks to be on as does amalfitano and obiang. got to be another exit on cards on top of Jarvis. wickham is on 26k at sunderland we are going to have to near on double that ; but he could have absolute potential, going on the last few games of last season, sunderland gave 8.2m plus for him but what price a striker; paying peanuts gets monkeys! club not given up on dawson yet either where are they all going to fit in IRONMIKE

The work being done is very encouraging and all steps in the right direction but I feel we still need to et rid of some wastage and replace with better.
Arguably Nolan needs to be replaced with more powerful, influential midfielder, We could do a lot better than Jarvis (wastes to much), Collins (getting to slow and indecisive), Maiga (Hanger on) and of course Morrison (who is a great talent but to volatile)

OGS says no move for Morrison, so that's all fabricated. I wouldn't be surprised if we stuck him out on loan for another season, needs to be sold or sign another dotted line in Jan though. Apparently £4.3m bid rejected for Wickham too. Just pay the £5m for gods sake and let's get on with the season! Against Sampdoria we looked a different team, actually playing football can you believe it. Just one for a laugh though, when that first whistle goes off against Spurs, it will go from the centre spot to Collins and straight up in the air to Cole, and it makes me genuinely laugh every time, not sarcastically lol

I've noticed that everrrryyy time. Take the centre pass straight back to collins, hoof it to the right of the penalty area. EVERYTIME

A local wearside paper makes me laugh when it asks "Why would Connor Wickham leave for a club that will be involved in a relegation dogfight (west ham).
If we are going to be there, its a fair bet that Sunderland won't be far off either cause I rate us better than that shower. With no Borini or Wickham don;t fancy their chances much, unless Poyet throws himself on in desperation

TV sources saying Irons have put in a bid for Connor Wickham. No more details.
Bid rumoured to be £5m. Sunderland hae already stated they want £6m
It seems West Brom are genuinely interested in Matt Jarvis whilst Cardiff are after Morrison. If we could sell these two and offload Maiga it would be great news and it would offer us room or Wickham, Obiang and Amalfitano
