Anybody know if Carlton Cole actually got a game today in the friendly with Charlton? For the record we got beat 4-2 and not a single mention of LOLton in the match report on West Ham United official website.
This only shows me one of two things:
- He didn't play today
- Or that just proves what a piece of s*** he is and shouldn't even be given a deal back at west ham, he clearly don't want it, this was meant to be his chance to earn his contract. Him and Maiga need to be let go once and for all, drop them, they are no use to us! Keep Vaz Te and Petric fighting for a start until AC is back and sign a decent out and out striker in Jan

I have always like carlton cole. Maybe not the most gifted striker out there but he tries hard but I got to say that we really need to let him and Maiga leave in January and invest in some real talent because the Carroll (even when fit) experiment simply won;t work in the premier league. Imagine if we had played Carroll at Spurs. We would have got stuffed
Carlton Cole and the spuds win at the weekend have no relevance to each other, playing cole against the spuds would have see us lose by more than 3 goals, almost guaranteed.
Don't give carlton any more chances, he don't want to play football anymore clearly, he has been given a behind closed doors friendly to work hard and show BS he is fit and able to play. not the case so let him go, can't be having players taking liberties with lifelines given to them like that
TOtally Agree. Whatever wages we are paying Cole could be better used elsewhere
Carlton cole had 2 assist in the charlton game i'm not exactly jumping for joy but it is only a short term deal brings more to the table than maiga.
maiga needs to be loaned asap if we wish to recoup some of our transfer fee
