Did any one else notice how the midfield did not want to pass to jelavic, at first I thought I was down to there non confidence in him, but maybe that was the game plan for jelavic to pull the defenders left to right all game but not getting any service making the defence lose interest in him towards the end of the game. Then bring Carroll on and tell him to win balls and give to jelavic, slaven is a clever man if that is the case. Also I thought obiang was excellent yesterday.

I think obiang should start he looks a very good player . I didn't get to the match Saturday how did Oxford play?

Who would you start obiang in place of hughsie? Oxford came on very late so didn't have much time to do a lot, his time will come he is going to be great for us in the future, he is playing very well in the development squad and scored last Monday, also good to see Samuelson doing well at Peterborough scoring again Saturday from outside the box.

I would play him instead of noble . although that would probably be a bit harsh to drop him based on the Liverpool performance.

Mark noble is a tricky one for me, you cannot knock his effort and commitment he bleeds claret and blue, however for me he is to slow for the prem and has a tendency to give the ball away in dangerous areas which have lead to a couple of goals conceded, also I feel he slows play down when on the attack, in my opinion we have better players that could play where he does ie obiang for one.
