Sorry Paul

I didn't read your post and typed mine this morning

What a game he had and against premier opposition, he looked so comfortable and seemed to have time and space and made things look very very easy, not many players that make the game look easy and they tend to be the best, he has a fantastic future,

I hope were keeping tabs on his progress and don't let him slip through the net to be replaced with some other foreign dud, I doubt this will happen and hopefully will be in the squad for next season.
What I also find refreshing is how Peterborough played its nice to see a 1st Division club play good football at a good tempo, quick movement and pressing hard, maybe just maybe the English leagues are beginning adopt this style of play, albeit 10 years or more behind the rest of Europe.

I have a massive dilemma on Sunday! . its poxy Valentines day, and the football on Sunday is unbelievable.
Arsenal V Leicester
Villa V Liverpool
Man C v Spurs

I have tried to work a way where as I can combine the two events, keep the Mrs happy and get out down the pub for the Noon kick off at the Emirates.

As its a early kick off I need to be out of the house by 11.30am, and probably will not get home until gone 7pm, which is not much of a Valentines day for her. but ( I have a cunning plan),

On Saturday morning nip to the bookies for my bets. BUT on the way back pick up a Card ( Card Factory) Flowers ( Lidl or Aldi, reasonable priced and don't look to cheap) and some Belgium Chocs

Just after final score I will present these to my loved one, and say " Happy Valentines" and explain how I wanted to make it special and have OUR Valentines day away from everyone else a day early as its much more romantic. in-between a hug and a kiss, drop the last surprise of saying were going out for "OUR SPECIAL VALENTINES" night of wine followed by a lovely meal.

Once out with my beloved I will ply here with plenty of her favourite wine, before heading off for more wine and food.
By the time we get back she will be slaughtered ( she always is on wine), and will give her a tender kiss and put her to bed to sleep while I watch my recorded MOTD.

In the morning she will be lagging and have a banging hangover, and be in no fit state to do anything for the day, even though I will offer to take her out for a Sunday lunch with more wine, on hearing this she will sulk back under the covers and decline my loving offer. at this point and not wanting to spend the day alone, you have no other option than to pop out down the pub for 7 hours and watch football. knowing on your return nothing can be said as it was her choice to spend the day laying in bed or on the settee, and its her fault for drinking so much the night before

Thats my plan, anyone else have any ideas?

you have a lot of free time, maybe you should go get the card and present now and save time at the weekend :D

I know the whole team did a fantastic job last night, but can we just take a minute to appreciate Darren Randolph. What a great performance that no doubt kept us in the tie until we took the winner at the end.

Good Morning All

Well after last night which was just brilliant well done boys, they dug in and although Liverpool did have a few chances its one of the games last year we would have lost, credit to every single player and also Bilic who seems to have created a squad and a spirit.

Does anyone know what the injury situation is like as we had a couple go off, and when is Lanzini back?

Cheers.
