24m for ineacho been accepted by city . medical next week anyone heard this as well? âš’âš’.

Hughsie

1.) 26 May 2017 19:41:59
NO BID has been accepted by city as at 4pm pm tonight there are many on the fable Dortmund, WH WBA Everton Newcastle Hioffenheim the list is lengthening, and there was nothing from WH at 4 pm, that's all I can say, We will hear of it soon enough if something has been done after hours, IRONMIKE.

2.) 26 May 2017 20:42:54
Really hope we get this done. Would be a huge signing for West Ham.

Mike do you know if the player would be interested in coming or he holding out for a big gun?

3.) 26 May 2017 20:59:14
I would say we are among the favourite destinations should he want to leave city, BUT I think there's more to go on this story IRONMIKE.

4.) 26 May 2017 22:07:41
Regarding that deal zabeleta signing is a massive plus.

25 Jan 2017 11:10:42
Hull have accepted a£10m bid from Burnley for snodgrass

Hughsie

1.) 25 Jan 2017 11:18:28
Yep as expected and the board will tell us they tried there hardest to gey him and hogan what a joke

2.) 25 Jan 2017 11:28:54
Looks like two of our targets are going elsewhere and didn't act fast enough again. snodgrass would prefer us over burnley but we don't react and now Watford have agreed fee for niang from ac Milan. it will be the same again we will do a rushed loan deal for someone we don't want but board would think will keep us happy.

3.) 25 Jan 2017 11:36:39
We snooze we lose simple as that

4.) 25 Jan 2017 11:37:51
And that's EXACTLY what I was referring to. We do it every single window. And that's why we need a director of football because. I can't believe that we lost out to (with all due respect) Watford and Burnley. Is that a sign of our ambition or is it again just the Chuckle Brothers trying to get themselves in the news. You couldn't make this farce up!

5.) 25 Jan 2017 11:45:35
Another issue Phil is that the board don't seem to know the difference between the market price and there own valuations! If a player is 10m then guess what? He not 3m Or 6m! We carry on like this no club will deal with us

6.) 25 Jan 2017 11:49:25
Hi Phil

If they really want him they will equal the bid ASAP, and let the player decide, it does seem as usual we fanny about trying to do deals, when Fonte came in, it seemed to me no fuss they got him, which maybe goes to show that once again the bids they submit are quite half hearted. and as ED 002 rightly said on a few occasions we are desperate for a Director of Football.

If they want him equal Burnley bid which I suspect could be a straight £10m and as said let the player decide. I hold my breath in anticipation. if you don't hear from me again we obviously have not got the player

7.) 25 Jan 2017 12:17:07
hello guys ironmike and ed is the new true that Watford have agreed a loan deal with option for permanent buy for niang?

{Ed002's Note - There is no final agreement right now.}

8.) 25 Jan 2017 12:43:30
GUYS. I commend you all. You have all hit the nail on the head and this is what I refer to. We mess about every window like this and lose out on so many targets its unreal!

9.) 25 Jan 2017 12:46:30
Do we really want niang though? Can't say I'm fussed to be honest. Looks like a player who can be high maintenance. as for snodgrass, I think we'll do better to wait for the summer to get a better option than pay 10m for him.

10.) 25 Jan 2017 11:33:46
Typical hammers transfer dealings probably trying to get players for nothing never change.

11.) 25 Jan 2017 12:49:14
Think we've missed out if niang goes to Watford although we are a more fashionable club than them so come on dgs, get your wallet out.

12.) 25 Jan 2017 13:25:27
I've never quite figured out why we make low bids on players when we know before hand that we have no intentions of meeting a players valuation. We've done it so many times only to lose out. With the players inflated prices these days you get what you pay for as we found out in the summer and it makes me furious when we continue to think we can do business like this because other teams are improving by signing players we should be snapping up. We are being linked with Perisic (REALLY)? . And are our board so Naïve that they think a world class player like him isn't going to be snapped up elsewhere. GET REAL and wake up"!

13.) 25 Jan 2017 14:18:45
Just to reiterate something I said in an earlier post.

We've all known that West Ham needed a right back, a centre back and a forward in this window, we needed it in the summer. We've signed Jose Fonte which is a good bit of business in my opinion, and we seem to be chasing a host of strikers, which implies we intend to sign one. However we haven't made any real noises when it comes to a right back? Is that because we aren't looking to sign one this window?

With regards to Snodgrass, I don't think we will buy him if we don't sell Payet. Until Payet is gone, I think Snodgrass is unlikely. I personally would get shot of him. But is Snodgrass really a worthy replacement? Don't get me wrong he works hard, he takes a decent set piece, he gets a couple of goals and a couple of assists each season but is he really going to start given that we have Ayew, Lanzini, Feghouli and Antonio already in the attacking midfield positions? Would we not be better signing a player like Sigurdsson who will challenge for a starting place at the very least?

30 May 2016 19:32:23
Anyone heard if slamini is on the list of strikers of ours? âš’.

Hughsie

{Ed002's Note - Interest has moved on - hence the significant offer for another.}

06 Mar 2016 09:25:08
Does anyone know if Reid or Tomkins is back for the Man U game?

Hughsie

1.) 06 Mar 2016 14:37:37
I think Reid obrian and mosses will be back.

2.) 06 Mar 2016 15:53:02
Thanks Paul . I think we're going to need Reid back with ginge out till April.

3.) 07 Mar 2016 13:54:22
Think Valencia could be back too.

4.) 07 Mar 2016 15:54:20
reid said he should be returning for man u game.

24 Feb 2016 20:40:37
What sort of reception do u think BFS will get on Saturday fellas? Also did u see jack Sullivan wearing batshuayi shirt, wonder if it's a clue in him coming to us? âš’.

Hughsie

1.) 25 Feb 2016 05:13:27
He'll get a rough ride for sure, although I hope we stick to singing the praises of SB and the team rather than simply booing BFS, this will be the best way to remind him of what he missed out on. And of course an emphatic win, that always helps. COYI.

2.) 25 Feb 2016 08:16:59
I personally hope that the fans cut Big Sam some slack on Saturday. The guy did his best for us, the fact his ways are old fashioned just goes to show how much the game has changed since he started managing.

I won't be booing Allardyce, but that's my opinion.

3.) 25 Feb 2016 09:27:18
Totally agree, he did a good job. left at the right time and now we have a new manager to take us to the next level. I'm glad he's not our manager now, but certainly won't be booing him. I just wish he wasn't arrogant and we would just remember him for what he did and not what he said.

4.) 25 Feb 2016 10:23:47
i won't boo allardyce don't really like the bloke but he did what we asked and what we needed at the time .

as far as batshauyi is concerned I think its an open secret we are interested in him as are half of europe lol for the money being talked about i'd rather someone a bit more proven than him now doubt he could be good but are we in a position to take that gamble? don't know is the answer as I've said before though we are going to get linked with everyone between now and the summer after sullivans 20 goal striker comments anyway.

5.) 25 Feb 2016 15:42:06
have to agree with fans here didn't like bfs style of football but to start slating him at the game could come back to haunt us but we have start games quicker than we have been.
if we ut this game to bed early enough should be able to rest some key players n give some playing time to those that returning.

6.) 25 Feb 2016 21:17:33
Do u think lanzini should start.

7.) 26 Feb 2016 07:23:25
No been out to long needs to be brought back slowly.

8.) 26 Feb 2016 12:11:27
I agree. I can't see Lanzini starting, but it's great to see him back and playing. As teams have realised how dangerous payet is, opposition players are bound to mak him closer than ever and it will be great for us to have Lanzini back in the team to exploit the gaps this will create. Combined with Antonio, Valencia, Moses we suddenly have such pace and numbers in attack. Talking about Antonio, what do you reckon about him at RB? Personally I thought he was fantastic against Liverpool and Blackburn.

9.) 26 Feb 2016 14:50:35
i think his pace and work ethic are fantastic would still like to see him further up the pitch than right back though as I think with that pace he can pop up anywhere in the box and is really hard to mark. been one of the finds of the season.

10.) 12 Mar 2016 21:13:04
Big Sam was a good manager. when ot come to taking praise. He did make some good signings, but has to take more responsibility. He took all praise when we did well, but if we didn't he would not have anything to do with it.

Who is a better manager, Bilic or Sam?

How bout a short term deal for Wesley snijder âš’.

Hughsie

1.) 15 Jul 2017 12:29:22
Not a bad shout. Ve not seen him play for years though I duno if he could bring anything. how did he do last season? Surly if he did well they would of given him an extension? Isn't he a past it player.

2.) 16 Jul 2017 11:04:21
15 assists and 5 goals last season . and he's bought himself out of his contract so looking for a new club âš’.

3.) 23 Jul 2017 00:38:36
He must be touching 40.

04 Jan 2017 15:24:14
2 bids rejected by Sunderland for Defoe. maybe he should put a transfer request in, that might help build a few bridges with the fans âš’âš’.

Hughsie

1.) 04 Jan 2017 15:38:52
sunderland would be mad to sell him he's the only reason they have a chance of staying up.

{Ed002's Note - Which is why they are not looking to sell.}

2.) 04 Jan 2017 19:08:22
Apparently they have asked sunderland to name their price within reason, shame they did not do the same with the summer targets we might not of ended up with half the crap we got. Defoe is too old to be waisting too much money on for me but I am happy with the serious intent by the board hopefully they have learnt a valuable lesson from the summer fiasco.

{Ed002's Note - Clubs do not say "name your price within reason" - they don't wish to sell. West Ham can ask for a price but if Sunderland are adamant then that is the end of the matter.}

3.) 04 Jan 2017 19:20:36
Their is a price for every player. If sunderland are serious about not selling they will say so, or put a ridiculous price on his head we shall see. 10 million now so west ham must be getting some signs from somewhere the deal is possible.

{Ed002's Note - They have said they don't want to sell him. West Ham are not getting any signs.}}

4.) 04 Jan 2017 19:43:29
Sky report £9m bid for hogan rejected.

01 Oct 2016 20:39:50
3 things learnt today . Antonio is not a striker . tore is not a footballer and obiang must start instead of noble âš’.

Hughsie

1.) 02 Oct 2016 07:48:10
Agree 100% Hughsie but you missed out Zaza who also is also not a footballer. After all the hype must be one of the most disappointing signings of all time. Worse than Maiga for me!

{Ed002's Note - Maybe the fans should not simply clamour for change and demand knee jerk reactions from the club? Maybe the club should not kow-tow to the demands of fans to buy players simply for the sake of it? Maybe the scattergun approach is not really the winner? Maybe the owner should not have anything to do with transfers? Maybe appointing a football person as Director of Football to act as a buffer, oversee the entire transfer process and support the manager would have eased a great deal of the problems?}

2.) 02 Oct 2016 13:10:30
Knee jerk reactions are all the ragear though ED! I hope bilic stays personally think after last year he's earned a decent chance at least but with the amount of money involved owners get nervous, it was obvions beforeally the season begun we bought quantity over quality no idea of the thinking behind it

On the transfer side I thought Tony Henry was supposed to be that sort of go between role or did dgs just over rule him anyway?

{Ed002's Note - It needs a director of football who knows the game well. Henry is a scout.}

3.) 02 Oct 2016 13:16:55
Maybe.

4.) 27 oct 2016 01:02:15
totally agree with you hughsie noble should be sold not rested he's been getting away with shocking performances for a few years now he's paceless got no engine gives the ball away in and around our half or 18 yard area we'd be a much better team with him gone i was praying obiang wsant sold and given a chance which i am not talking after the horse has bolted but i've been saying in my blogs on the site that he's better than noble we'd get decent money for him now between 8-12 million i reckon so cash in on him and go and get kone from sunderland for 20 million i guess i know there will be few clubs going for him but let's try we need a top class c/ b . coyi.

02 Aug 2016 15:35:53
How bout letting Antonio have a run out as a striker . definatly ain't a right back and knows where the goal is.

Hughsie

1.) 02 Aug 2016 16:29:30
to be honest hughie I'd leave him 8n I'd field I think the reason he gets goals from midfield is because his pace allows him to arrive in the box a bit late and unmarked I think he causes chaos that way, everyone at west ham knows he ain't a RB though apart from slav lol.

2.) 02 Aug 2016 16:58:20
ballotelli still avaliable lol and van persie.

12 Mar 2016 19:37:15
Just seen Costa sent off in the FA cup game against Everton, does that mean he's banned for next weeks game against us . I wonder how much Everton would sell lukaku for he was quality again today . plus it would mean him not scoring against us anymore lol.

Hughsie

1.) 12 Mar 2016 20:22:32
With lukaku we could do the double.

Gotta keep Sakho and Carroll imo, both offer something different, replace Moses emineke song (already replaced) and jenkinson plus we need to start giving the youngsters some game time, this new bunch of talent we have coming through have to get some game time or we will lose them . the Reece Burke situation needs to be sorted out before we lose him I hear Newcastle are in for him? âš’.
