Why would we want to sell Lanzini, at his best he is at least on a par with Erickson and Mata for example
Sure we seem to be stacked with creative midfielders but injuries and drops in form mean we can’t have enough .
Now we have bought a classy striker let’s make sure that he isn’t starved of decent service .
Last season when he returned was admittedly not the Lanzini we have become accustomed to, but he was out for a long time and it’s difficult to pick up where he was before the injury when only featuring in the back end of the season.
Hopefully a proper pre season will see him back to his creative best . I certainly wouldn’t give up on him .

I agree we carry too many players that are not of the standard required if we are to push into the higher positions in the League.
Sanchez Is appalling, Ogbonna is a liability, The Striker we bought from Preston has never been up to it (£10M thrown away ) , Cullen isn’t going to make the grade, Reece Oxford isn’t doing it, Hernandez isn’t scoring weight of goals and only in the box when he does score, he is past his best, left back is a problem and one of the two should go and a decent full back brought In.
Reid needs to prove he can stay fit but deserves the chance
We should get rid of the lot they won’t ever be 1st X1 players and bench warming at best is not going to help them . We should get a fee for most of them which we can spend on decent squad players and buy some quality youths to develop.
We hold on to youths for too long when it’s clear they are never going to be of Premier League standard. What was a flood of top youth players is now a trickle . We should be trying to buy promising 14, yr olds and up if we haven’t got our own . If they are any good then they should progress to the squad and bench at 16 . Other clubs are very aggressive in their youth recruitment we should be trying to bring talent in .
Obiang has gone, in fairness he wasn’t getting much game time and won’t be missed too much, in fact the £8M is more valuable if used for purchases.

Morellos would be a great signing . He is aggressive scores plenty of goals and will be relatively cheap because playing in Scottish Pub League. I agree his disciplinary record isn’t great but I also think he is a marked man up there. We did well when signing a nutter from North of the Border ( via Sheffield Wed ) , and whilst he hasn’t PdiCs skills he finds the back of the net more often .
We can’t lose much if we need to move him on, and his wages aren’t likely to break the bank . But I think he will do ok, he can’t be any worse than the dross we have seen masquerading as strikers of late . We paid £10M for the one we bought from Preston who has managed 3 appearances and no goals which would make a fee of £20M if we had to pay it seem a steal by comparison . We certainly won’t need to pay him the money we paid Carroll to be constantly injured or I would guess the blank firing Zaza who Inter tried to sell us .
He must be a better option than Llorente who only got games for Tott because he was bad enough to be content bench warming when Kane was able to play.

Be lucky to sell Sanchez, if we give him away and save his wages we can count ourselves lucky . He should never get near the squad he is really crap unbelievable he gets in the Colombian National side .
Ogbonna has been a liability for a couple of years now, we were so short of centre halves he got a number of games but if we have any ambition then we won’t see him again . We should get a small fee for him, but he has always tried it’s just that it’s not that good, lose his wages and give him a free if necessary .

Noble is invaluable to the team
But we need quality midfielders so we can rotate him and sub him when winning easily
Obiang was ok but the £8M is better for funding reinforcements .
Doubt we will have such luck when trying to rid ourselves of Sanchez who had to be the worst midfielder in the league. We may be lucky and some mug may sign him ad we get his wages off the salary roll . If they please let’s pay him u and breathe a sigh of relief that he will never wear a West Ham shirt again . I just can’t believe he gets in the Colombian side, maybe he is rodgering the coach?

Can’t believe an international footballer playing for a top side can be so bad . He doesn’t run, he can’t pass and I have yet to see him tackle .

Austin can take Carroll’s permanent place in the medical centre
£80000 too much for him
Mind you bearing in mind the strikers we normally sign I wouldn’t be surprised if he signed along with Sturrige and supplemented by an out of retirement Peter Crouch.
Anyone who signed Johnathon Caleri, Zaza and Hugill is always liable to bring on board crap to play alongside our new boy which should see him heading for the exit next transfer window.
I just can’t be positive as we normally end up with a front line that struggles to get 10 in total either t (rough injured players or players drawing a pension or those who are just bad. Haller will need to have help and quality help is needed,

Great they have all gone or are going . Hernandez’s strike rate has fallen, he isn’t a starting striker and is getting past it. Hugill was a pathetic purchase even for us . Carroll always injured and very one dimensional, Perez why on earth did we buy him? He was crap at the Arse why did we think he would begin scoring at our place? Even the greedy Austrian could never be called prolific despite his talent when he decided to try. In clearing out the whole bunch we are losing 20 goals? Hardly going to miss them .
If Haller is half as good as we believe he will cover that bunches returns easily .
We still have Antonio
I guess that Anderson will play in the forward line too .
Then there’s the midfield which should weigh in .
But
There’s a Colombian at Rangers who we should buy
Unlike most strikers playing for us of late he knows where the back of the net is, has no injury problems and should come relatively cheap ( compared to £10M for Hugill Haller was cheap!, ) .
I know he plays in a pub league but some decent strikers have come from there, and it’s not like he is getting 9 or 10 a season .
Ok he is a nutter, but we love a nutter . And certainly Costa ( Chelsea one ) was as bad but in reality was lauded for his aggression and winding up of opposition defenders .
