Any truth to the current rumours about possible about us being in for Vida (the Croatian defender)?

Regardless, exciting times to be a hammer!

Hey, Fellas!

I'm new around here and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains; located in North Georgia, USA. I've been WHTID for 20 years, since I was a 13 year old lad. I travel for the Irons when they are stateside and I'm currently looking to plan my first trip over to take in a proper match.

Speaking of my planned trip. if anyone has any suggestions for hotels or other lodgings that are within walking distance of the stadium I'd appreciate it. I'd also like to hear your thoughts on which match before the end of the season I should try to attend.

Either way, it's not Upton Park, but it's where we are now. so it'll be a minor religious experience for me. Pints all around, my boys!

holiday inn and premier inn both at Stratford and 15 minute walk from the ground, but you will have to bring your own moonshine 🙂🙂🙂🙂.

Hi my USA friend, I have driven the Appalachian trails and skylIne drive, excellent to have supporters from so far away, WHAT made you a supporter in the first place? IRONMIKE.

3.) 25 Nov 2017 16:07:22
IRONMIKE, when I was younger I had a really good friend from East London. Him and his father were absolutely rabid fans. One of my fondest memories is helping his Father position his massive satellite for the matches we watched. It’s a hard thing to explain around here, but I’ve been claret and blue for a long time.

Jasonb, you may (or may not) be surprised at the quantity and ease of acquisition of moonshine where I live😆. Most of the old men just call it peach brandy, though.

It’s on my list of drinks to try :) can get on mail order but not sure if it the real thing . :) . Have you contacted any US fan clubs? They will be a big help to you in getting over . If not then join the Claret membership to get Home tickets .

I haven’t thought about that Jason. Great idea.

As far as the drinks. if you ever have any questions about the commercial stuff let me know. I live a little over an hour from where most of it is made. I can tell you what’s close enough to the real deal made by people that use to make the real stuff.

Hi appalachian

If your planning to make a visit to Stratford let me know I often have a spare ticket and you would be most welcome as my guest.

Mercerl

That would be great since I’ll be traveling solo. My family is way too young to make the trip. I’d certainly be more than happy to pay way and be grateful for the company.

If we are going to live off a half decent performance ( EFFORT NOT QUALITY ) here and there then that just ain't good enough.

Unfortunately, not yet. had a family tragedy at the end of last season. Who knows about this year.

If anyone happens around the ATL area let me know. We’ll catch a match or a pint.

I’m a season ticket holder for Atlanta United. I’d absolutely fall all over myself for Miggy to make the move to the Hammers. Not so sure about Martinez. He has a lot of natural ability, but he’s also a bit of a man-child. He needs constant attention and consoling from the staff and if he isn’t the center of attention he shuts down as a performer.

Massive point in my opinion! We fought hard for it and I don’t believe it’ll be an easy point for other bottom half teams to get.
