Why Scamacca not taking our penalties is beyond me

Scamacca is absolutely starved of any service and it will be him whos made the scapegoat i'd take fornals of and put ANTONIO on now.

MOYES got what he wanted, damage limitation. Why was Fornals on that pitch he was disturbingly bad. Scamacca very quiet because he has no service. Cresswell as expected run ragged against SALAH and Trent Alenander Arnold, and on the other side Johnson looked off the pace but no surprise bearing in mind he is just back from Injury. We need a penalty taker for Christs Sake. OK, we only lost 1-0 but Liverpool were there for the taking. Such a shame we don't have a manager with more ambition, but hey, if we had lost 9-0 we would have slaughtered him. It just seems like a golden chance thrown away

Frustrating game. Especially the 2nd half. We had enough opportunities to come away with at least a point. We really missed Paqueta.

Wingers must have pace, so that should rule Fornals out.

Noble’s first job should be to teach someone to take pens.

Rice keeps pushing his value up.

Hmmm and the CHelsea midfielder state with KANTE and Jorghino is making Rice a more and more attractive proposition to them. It won't have gone un-noticed by KLOPP last night either so I reckon we should resign ourselves to losing him in Jan or next summer.

We only looked like hurting Liverpool was when ANTONIO came on but I hope SCAMACCA doesn't become another HALLER, we need players around SCAMACCA a real no 10 and I feel for FORNALS as he ain't a winger but DM is trying to turn players into his R2D2 robot who just run around like a headless chicken up and down the line tracking back all game and that's exactly why we are not getting the bodies forward as they've all tracked back and it really shows especially against the top teams,playing counter attacking football home and away you are inviting pressure all the time instead of playing 4-2-3-1 with 2 holding MIDs why not just play a CDM in front of the back 4 I'd play a 4-1-3-2 then you can get 2 up top as SCAMACCA is getting isolated up front and balls are pumped up and he's normally got 2 c/b around him and we need to get players in and around him and I'm sorry to keep on but IMO and I truly mean this DM isn't tactically capable of getting the best out of players, BENRAMA needs a run in the team of 10 or so games as not everything he tries comes off but he's trying to be a match winner and he's got the ability to win games for us but keep playing players out of position look at DOWNES he gets his first premier league start and he plays him out of position against Liverpool at an field well done MOYES here's another player you will ruin that's the only thing MOYES is capable of.

Scammaa was dreadful last night, as was Fornals. I know Bowen has a penalty saved, but it was a save. Strange how he hit his 1st penalty really hard but the next 2 have been placed. If players hit the penalty hard, like Ray Stewart, they rarely miss. Think Benrahma deserves a place in our starting 11.

MOYES won't change things as we all know because he only knows one way of playing. We have seen this and we know it. He buys players and ruins them. Imagine if Paqueta and Benrahma were let loose to play how they want to. Put them two in behind Scamacca, with two flying wing backs (Full backs with real pace) outside. And the shame of it is that POCHETTINO is now likely to be going to Villa and he is one manager I reckon could really have taken us to the next level because let's face it everybody, we are not going to win any silverware under MOYES, let's all be honest with ourselves?

Don't agree with you markwhu on SCAMACCA he wasn't given any service at all and on the BOWEN penalty the keeper knew exactly which way he was going as he opens his body up to put it to the keepers right BOWENS left he totally telegraphed it on FORNALS he was dreadful but he like a few markwhu are being asked to play out of the strongest positions why I can understand us having to do this if we have terrible injury crisis but at the minute we have players that can play on the wide left in BENRAMA we all know we he plays FORNALS there as he's turned him into a non foreign player and by that I mean all MOYES likes is robots the run up and down the wing if they are playing with wingers and FORNALS isn't a winger,he needs to give BENRAMA a run of a minimum of 10 games and tell him to go at their right back and try and be a match winner which he is IMO capable of but DM is far too critical of flair players making mistakes as he thinks they have to be perfect as long as he ain't doing Cruyff turns in our box then I'm fine with him trying to unlock the opponents defence but if a player is given a game here and there then that player knows if he doesn't have a 8-10 out of ten game then he's benched for the next game then I don't think its fair on a player.

Penalty etiquette - pick a spot, stick to it then blast it as hard and fast as possible; then even if goalie goes right way, it may sting his fingers and go in still.
