Great win. Noble solidified our midfield and Haller is off and running. Our defence still looks a bit shaky, but with Manu pulling the strings in central attack, things are looking optimistic.
Yarmolenko needs to play the whole game against Newport. Antonio was so much more of a threat when he replaced him.

Red star, you are bang on mate about Wilshere, but we were stupid enough, so you never know? Also agree about Noble, he can’t help his pace but a great professional and loyal man👍 Excellent result against Watford especially away, never easy on the road whoever you’re against in the Premiership! Haller’s goals will give plenty of confidence, well done lads👍👍⚒⚒⚒.

Think Noble makes a significant difference for us. He’s a leader and wants us to do well. Rice is so much better with him. Lanzini is starting to look good again.

Maybe just me Mark but I thought Rice didn’t have one of his better games. Some nice driving runs and a few good tackles as can be expected, but a few errors in the game. But that’s not unexpected he still young. But a few missed tackles, some misplaced passes, and caught out of position a few times.

If Nobes had more pace he would be an unbelievable asset for us. Fortunately he makes up for it with his leadership on the pitch, a team with him in it may lack legs in centre midfield, but they are far more up for a fight with him there. This said, CM is a position we need to strengthen as Nobes is not getting younger, leadership qualities still don't cover his own weaknesses, and we have no other traditional CM's to partner Rice.
As for Jack, MP is still playing him out of position and next to a relatively inexperienced Declan Rice (people also argue Dm is not his natural or future position as he matures), so i hope fans can reserve judgement for now. Its simple, JW needs to be in Lanzini's position where his role is not as combative and requires less defensive work. JW should be used as a creative player, not a traditional CM like Nobes. Lanzini is my 1st choice here though, so JW should be fighting from the bench for that role instead.
