Just a note on the rest of this season. I’ve read in several places that we are safe from relegation and that there’s not much left to play for.

This is complete nonsense!

Not only do the players owe it to the supporters to give it 100%, but MP can now start to craft the side he wants as the injured players return. The next match v Fulham will be the starting point when Lanzini, Nasri and possibly Balbuena will be available.

Equally importantly, we must begin to look like a side that other players want to come to. The better we play and the higher we finish in the table, the more we encourage our potential, high quality targets to join us.
