BILLY BONDS. My HERO WELL its been a long time coming far too bloody long , this was originally set for the last home game of the season WHY? MR Sullivan has had the sense to see it differently Now it's been moved forward The most deserved of all the honours in my own opinion THE PLAYER WITH THE HEAART OF A LION, has never been replaced and probably never will. To right total legend, I think USA TV done a special on him at 40 odd as he was so fit

Harry has contacted Billy so many times and in many ways, To try and apologise to him, BB just ignores him Frankly it’s time for them to get together, BUT Bill as a person is just the opposite of Harry He’s very quiet sometimes shy and unassuming so different to his pitch persona MANY years ago during a terrible season we where having We were playing home to Notts Forest IT basically was Bill versus Forest after being run ragged by them Bill got all three goals in a 3-3 draw at the end of the game THE FOREST players clapped him off! His sheer will and discipline is something we havnt got today, LOOK it’s a different game today and Billy has said he wouldn’t be as effective today because of the tackling law changes and to an extent that’s right ONE last thing just before he retired, Billy at 42 was the fastest player in the lsquad dressed in ifull kit Got down down the old pitch In 11 -3 seconds have a think about that, IF anybody wants to hear a bit more about him let me know. Mike, I would love to hear more on Bill, I loved him as every WH fan did, an absolute giant asset to have in our team. I like many watched WH from early ‘60’s⚒ That’s why for years I have no time for Redknapp as a person as I read what apparently went on behind the scenes at WH when Billy was the manager and Redknapp his assistant I believe! I also believe Brooking has little time for Redknapp as well as he knew all the goings on! Redknapp is all about making snide remarks when he doesn’t get his own way, that’s the nicest I can put down in words really, don’t turn your back on Harry!
