Now the dust has settled, I think this needs to be said:

If, before the summer, we were told that £100m was going to be invested in the squad over the next two windows, we would all have been quite happy. That it all went in the summer shouldn’t really make a difference, but somehow it does - especially with our squad gaps and striker issues.

Typical WH fan:- rarely if ever satisfied!

Our biggest problem is the inDJUries. Fortunately we are 3 wins from safety so there was no need to waste money on loans now.

Offer me 14-15th at end of season with the guarantee that Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Wilshere, Reid, Balbuena and Sanchez were all fully fit and back to their old selves i would take it.
